Cougars QB Conner Weigman has thrown for 11 touchdowns and run for six more, and running back Dean Connors has 538 yards and four more scores. The Houston offense puts up 29.4 points a game (another reason I like the over).

Defensively, Houston is solid, junior Brandon Mack II has three sacks. Senior Carlos Allen Jr. ranks third among FBS defensive linemen with 43 total tackles, providing the run-stopping presence that could slow Arizona State’s ground game.

But Arizona State has the momentum right now. This is a program that made the CFP last season, and coach Kenny Dillingham just oozes all the right vibes.

Arizona State hasn’t been 6-2 in 12 years. They take a big step forward tonight.
