College Football Picks Today: Best Bets for Week 10 (Nov. 1)

• We’ve made it to another week, which means we’re blessed with another College Football slate on Saturday, November 1
• I’m thinking we can go right back to the quarterbacks this week since we’re just printing cash at this point

It happened again last week. We split. Usually, that is a bad thing since most people lose money when they split, but not us. We’re plus money soldiers. What does that mean? It’s simple. Instead of betting moves at a price of -110 or more, we simply play alt lines at prices of +100 or more. That way, when we win one, we pocket more cash than we bet on the other. For example, when we win a +125 bet, we take home $125 for every $100 we bet. So if we bet $100 on two different +125 moves, and won one +125 bet but lost the other, we would actually profit $25 even though we went 1-1. It’s a classic “we’re just smarter than the books” situation, and it’s something we’re doing again this week. Feels good to be geniuses.

Week 10 College Football Pick #1 – Avery Johnson Isn’t That Bad

The books are at it again, just disrespecting young quarterbacks all over the place. Anytime we see a college signal caller at 225+ passing yards for plus money, that’s a slap in the face. Not cool. Guys can get 225+ in a single half of college ball. We’ve all seen them do it.

Especially a guy like Avery Johnson when he gets to throw to a guy like Jayce Brown.

We’ll do exactly what we did last week with both of our quarterbacks. Find a team that is playing a very good run defense and see if we can exploit them in the pass game. It worked last week, and it will work again (probably).

This week, it’s the Texas Tech defense that we’re going to target with our boy Avery. So far this season, the Red Raiders are first in the nation in opponent yards per carry. That’s crazy. Kansas State won’t be able to run as well as they want so they’ll be forced to throw the ball a little. Even if they can run, we still have the Texas Tech offense that will hang points and force the Wildcats to play along.

On top of that, we’ve got Texas Tech on the road, which plays in our favor. A couple of weeks ago, they went to Arizona State and got motorboated through the air by Sam Leavitt. The kind dropped 319 yards on them. If Leavitt can go 300+, surely Avery can get us 225+. Feels easy.

Week 10 College Football Pick #2 – DJ Lagway Can Kind Of Ball

The best part about our Avery Johnson bet is the fact that we have another bet going on at the same damn time (shoutout Future). There isn’t a lot better than two plus-money bangers playing out simultaneously. Two is always better than one. In fact, it’s twice as good (shoutout math).

Especially when you realize that the books are disrespecting a very focused DJ Lagway this week. Shame on them.

The haters are going to whine about the Gators firing their coach. They’re going to say that Florida will be distracted and won’t be “up” for this game. That’s nonsense. What if the Gators hated their coach? Didn’t these haters see Varisty Blues?

I think the coaching move helps a guy like Lagway. For starters, he’s already a super-talented kid. He’s gone for 240+ passing yards in four of his last five games, so we know he can do it. The only time he didn’t was that time when it was raining in Miami. Not his fault. He doesn’t control the weather.

Lagway is going to see a Georgia team that has been baptized through the air by Trinidad Chambliss, Ty Simpson, and Joey Aguilar this season. Every single one of those guys went 260+ on the Bulldogs. We only need 240+. Feels easy.
