It is another great day to bet on players to hit a home run. All 30 MLB teams are in action, and sportsbooks are offering boosts and bonuses for players to hit one over the fence on Tuesday night.
It is Dinger Tuesday at FanDuel, so all users can opt in and claim a 50% profit boost on any player to hit a home run. This is a great opportunity to add even more value to a player with shorter odds to go yard.
I hit two of my three home run picks last Tuesday, so let’s win some more money tonight.
Dinger Tuesday Pick #1: Alec Burleson (+840 at FanDuel with 50% Profit Boost)
Alec Burleson has just four home runs on the season, but he has a great chance to hit one vs Michael Lorenzen and the Royals tonight. In a small sample size of just three at-bats, Burleson has two hits and one home run vs Lorenzon in his career.
While he hasn’t hit a home run since May 18, Burleson is hitting the ball well. He has 14 hits in his last 12 games. His exit velocity and hard hit rate are great, so it is only a matter of time before one of these hits leaves the ballpark. Burleson is much better against right-handed pitchers, where he has hit all four of his home runs and is slugging .429. He is also slugging better at home in Busch Stadium than on the road.
Lorenzen has given up eight home runs in his last seven starts and had a 5.34 ERA in the month of May. He has been much worse on the road as well. Eight of Lorenzen’s ten home runs that he has allowed have come away from Kauffman Stadium.

At FanDuel, Burleson is +560 to hit a home run. That already offers some great value, but with the 50% profit boost for Dinger Tuesday, he is now +840. That is tremendous for a power hitter who has a great matchup against a pitcher he has already homered off of in his career.

Dinger Tuesday Pick #2: Max Kepler (+520 at FanDuel)
Max Kepler is +520 at FanDuel to hit a home run, and I am predicting him to hit one over the fence against Bowden Francis and the Blue Jays tonight. Kepler has six home runs on the season, and now he faces a pitcher who has a 2.5 HR/9 this season.
Francis has a 5.04 ERA in 2025 and a 6.43 ERA when he is at home. Kepler has a chance to take advantage of this matchup as a left-handed batter. 12 of the 15 home runs that Francis has allowed have come against lefties. Kepler has an exit velocity of 90.5 and a hard hit rate of 46.7%, so both of those give me confidence in Kepler to go yard against the Blue Jays tonight. Bet on Kepler to hit his seventh home run of the season tonight.

A $10 wager on Kepler to hit a home run would win $52 and result in a payout of $62.
Dinger Tuesday Pick #3: Ben Rice (+350 at FanDuel)
Ben Rice has 12 home runs on the year and has hit two in his last four games. I expect him to stay hot tonight against the Guardians now that he is back home at Yankee Stadium.
It is a small sample size, but Rice is 1-3 with a home run in his career against Tanner Bibee. Bibee has a 1.7 HR/9 this season and has allowed three home runs in his last three starts. He especially struggles on the road, where nine of his 12 home runs given up have occurred. Now he has to play in Yankee Stadium.
Rice has a hit in five of his last six games, and his underlying power numbers are fantastic. He only trails Aaron Judge on the Yankees in terms of exit velocity, and his hard hit rate of 57.9% leads the team.
I normally do not like betting on someone who hit a home run in his last game, but Rice has too much value at +350 odds to hit one over the fence tonight.
