Baseball bettors have a massive 15-game slate to feast on, per usual, on Sunday, June 29th. With starting pitchers announced for all matchups, the SBD score predictor has made its calculations for every game on the docket.

The table below sets out the score prediction for all 15 games, plus the best moneyline or over/under bet for each game based on the score prediction.

Twins vs Tigers4.01 – 3.86Twins ML (+225 at BetMGM)

The biggest discrepancy between odds and prediction is in the final game of the day: Minnesota vs Detroit on Sunday Night Baseball. The Twins are massive +225 road underdogs with Tarik Skubal taking the mound for the Tigers. But SBD’s score predictor likes Minnesota to eke out a victory.

Cubs vs Astros Pick: CHC Moneyline

Another plus-money underdog the score predictor has winning straight-up is the Cubs. The NL Central-leading Cubbies are as long as +132 on the moneyline in Sunday’s MLB odds. Sportsbooks like the Astros with Framber Valdez (2.88 ERA) on the hill against Chicago’s Jameson Taillon (4.47 ERA) but Valdez has a significantly higher xERA (3.83) than his surface-level stats, and the Cubs’ offense has scored 105 more runs than Houston’s this season (453 – 348).

Chicago mashed its way ot a 12-3 victory last night after Houston took the opener 7-4 on Friday. Both teams have identical 49-34 win/loss records so far, but the Cubs have a significantly better run differential (+106 to +44), and are tied with the Yankees for the best mark in the majors in that department.

Marlins vs Diamondbacks Pick: Over 9.0

The score predictor’s favorite run total bet on Sunday is over 9.0 in Miami/Arizona this afternoon. The score predictor has the teams putting up nearly 11 runs (10.45) against a total of just 9.0.

These teams hammered out 14 runs in nine innings last night and 15 on Friday. Sunday brings an underwhelming pitching matchup between Cal Quantrill (5.56 ERA) and Eduardo Rodriguez (5.40 ERA). And even if the starters put in good showings, we have two subpar bullpens backing them up. Miami ranks 22nd in bullpen ERA (4.35) and they’re the better of the two units. The Diamondbacks are a woeful 28th in the majors in bullpen ERA with a disastrous 5.22 number through 82 games.
