Matthew Stafford & Cooper Kupp Should Go Off

What we need is a situation where a good quarterback is playing with a defense that is going to give up 1000 points. And it wouldn’t hurt if that quarterback had a legit dawg at receiver. Because if we had both of those things, all we would need at that point is a running back for the other team and we’d be on the road to riches.

This Rams vs Lions same-game parlay is going to start with Matthew Stafford. He’s back in Detroit, which I think gives him a little boost, and on top of that, he’s fully healthy. But to be honest, this has more to do with the Detroit offense as well as the Los Angeles Rams’ defense.

The Rams lost Aaron Donald in the offseason and there is no replacing that guy. Their defense could easily be one of the worst in the NFL. Why does that matter? Because once the Rams get behind, it’s Matthew time and nothing is stopping him from getting loose out there. He’s throwing for 225+ yards.

That’s where Cooper Kupp comes into play, as well. If Stafford is throwing for 225+ yards, Cooper is going for 50+. I get that Puka Nacua is around but Kupp is finally healthy and that means a lot. I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes for 100+ but we only need half of that. Feels right.

David Montgomery Is in the Circle of Trust

The logic here is simple. If the Lions are playing with a lead, then they will be running the ball. Especially late in the game. That’s just how playing with a lead works. From everything we’ve heard, David Montgomery is still the guy getting touches. On top of that, Jahmyr Gibbs could be eased back into action since he’s coming off of a hamstring injury.

All signs point to a 50+ rushing yard night for Montgomery.
