Who loves a good touchdown parlay? Trick question – everyone does. I have provided three excellent options to add to your bet slips. They are ideal boosts to same-game parlays or a multi-sport parlay with the NBA and NHL in full swing.
Continue reading for my three best Arizona Cardinals vs Dallas Cowboys anytime touchdown picks for Monday Night Football (8:15 pm ET).
Best Cardinals vs Cowboys TD Scorer Picks
All three of my targets – Jacoby Brissett, KaVontae Turpin, and Dak Prescott – are 5-to-1 longshots to score in the anytime touchdown scorer props.
Other options, such as Javonte Williams (-160, Fanatics), CeeDee Lamb (+105, Fanatics), or Marvin Harrison Jr. (+136, Underdog), will be popular picks, but picking one (or all) of these three players to find pay dirt provides the opportunity for a big payday.
ARZ vs DAL Touchdown Pick #1: Jacoby Brissett Anytime TD (+500 at DraftKings)
Jacoby Brissett has yet to score this season, but he has 15 career rushing touchdowns. He is a steady short-yardage threat, scoring 12 of his 15 career touchdowns within the five-yard line. Unlike Kyler Murray, Brissett can be utilized in tush push or quarterback sneak situations.
Murray, who has yet to be ruled out for Monday night, has one rushing touchdown on the season. The Cardinals as a team only have five rushing touchdowns on the season with Zonovan (Bam) Knight leading the way with just two.
In his two starts, Brissett has nine rushes for 45 yards. He is not as electric as Murray, but Brissett can make a move or two.
The Cowboys have allowed three rushing touchdowns to quarterbacks this season. Jalen Hurts nabbed two in Week 1 – neither of which were of the tush push variety. Jayden Daniels found the end zone in a blowout loss two weeks ago.
ARZ vs DAL Touchdown Pick #2: KaVontae Turpin Anytime TD (+500 at DraftKings)
KaVontae Turpin only has one touchdown this season – a receiving touchdown – but he has nine total touchdowns in three seasons, scoring in four different ways. Last season, Turpin scored a punt-return touchdown and kick-return touchdown in addition to his pair of receiving touchdowns. In 2023, Turpin had a rushing touchdown and three receiving touchdowns.
Turpin’s value comes in the variety of ways he can score. As a receiver, Turpin has multiple targets in five of six games. He has a rush attempt in four different games. He has multiple kick returns in each game, including six against the Packers. As a punt returner, Turpin has returned a punt in half of his games played.
With four logical ways for Turpin to score, I will take my chances with the +500 odds. Arizona has yet to allow a special teams touchdown this season, but Turpin is a premier returner, and it is just a matter of time for the 2024 All-Pro to catch lightning in a bottle.
ARZ vs DAL Touchdown Pick #3: Dak Prescott Anytime TD (+750 at DraftKings)
Dak Prescott has one rushing touchdown this season, his 30th career rushing touchdown. Prescott also scored a receiving touchdown in the 2020 season. While he has not reached his 2016-2018 heights with six touchdowns per season, Prescott is reliable to find the end zone once or twice a season since returning from his 2020 ankle injury.
A similar runner to Brissett, Prescott has a rush attempt in seven of eight games. Last week, he had six rushes for 31 yards, a season high. He had multiple rush attempts in all four of Dallas’ October games, an increase in rushing volume after a modest September.
Prescott won’t break any speed records, but he has been a solid red-zone threat. He has 10 career rushing touchdowns inside the three-yard line, including one in each of the last two seasons. He is a threat to keep the ball on an occasional read option look, and he could be used in sneak scenarios or as a weapon for a quarterback draw.
The Cardinals have allowed one quarterback touchdown this season with Daniel Jones slipping into the end zone back in Arizona’s narrow loss to the Colts.
