  • Matthew Golden, Jaylen Warren and Tucker Kraft feature in my props article
  • See my favorite Packers vs Steelers player props and best bets for SNF

A highly anticipated Sunday Night Football matchup sees Aaron Rodgers and the 4-2 Steelers hosting his former Packers 4-1-1 team in what amounts to a revenge match. Should Rodgers be victorious, he’d be the fifth QB ever to defeat all 32 teams, and Pittsburgh has won six in a row at home to Green Bay, not losing since 1970.

There’s a lot of money to be made in NFL player props, and I’ve compiled my three favorite prop bets, below, including a touchdown-scorer bet in the Week 8 SNF odds.

Packers vs Steelers Prop Pick #1: Matthew Golden Over 41.5 Receiving Yards

This season, the Pittsburgh Steelers have had a very tough time limiting passing yards, ranking second last in the NFL (258.8). Initially I was interested in selecting the over 240.5 passing yards for Jordan Love, but he’s been inconsistent in terms of high passing totals, not reaching that benchmark in half of his six outings.

I will, however, go with a pass catching target that he’s developed more and more trust in – first round pick Matthew Golden. Following a slow start to his NFL career with just two catches on four targets for 16 yards in his first two contests, Golden has really picked up the pace. He’s reached the 50+ yard threshold in three of four, averaging 4.75 targets/game, with 16 receptions on 19 targets in that span.

For a standard wager on the Sunday Night Football affair, Chris Amberley has a fantastic Packers vs Steelers writeup on why he think it’s going to be a tight battle.

  • Matthew Golden Over 41.5 Receiving Yards (-111)

GB vs PIT Player Prop #2: Jaylen Warren Under 56.5 Rushing Yards

Jaylen Warren had a breakout game last week against the Bengals, rushing for 127 yards, the second highest output of his career. However, I believe that will be more of the aberration, rather than the rule continuing in this one.

On the year, the Steelers are 25th in yards/game (94.5), and they’re going up against a stout run D in Green Bay, which ranks second in the league (76.5) in yards allowed on the ground per duel.

Extrapolating both 2024 and 2025 statistics (20 games), only three times has Warren been able to reach the 57 rushing yards benchmark, so I’m quite confident Green Bay will thwart him.

While Warren doesn’t feature in John Hyslop’s Packers vs Steelers same-game parlay, he does have a pair of Steelers teammates in his parlay to pick up the slack.

  • Jaylen Warren Under 56.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

Moving over to the Packers vs Steelers touchdown scorer props, Josh Jacobs has the shortest odds to record a TD at -180. The player most likely to find the end zone for the Steelers is Jaylen Warren at +125.

Packers vs Steelers Prop Pick #3: Tucker Kraft Anytime TD

For an anytime touchdown scorer, I’m going with Jordan Love’s favorite red zone target in Tucker Kraft, who has found paydirt in four of his six battles this year, including the last two weeks. His four TD’s are tied with Romeo Doubs for the team lead amongst pass catchers, but three of those four for Doubs came in the same game.

Pittsburgh has surrendered four TD’s to tight ends, with only three teams giving up more through seven weeks. Kraft has slightly longer odds than the two-top choices on the board, allowing you to recoup a little bit of value with a wager on him. As always, make sure you scan our NFL betting apps to find the best odds.
