Texans vs Chargers SGP Leg #1 – Justin Herbert Under 211.5 Passing Yards (-114 at FanDuel)

Herbert is coming off a 300-yard passing game in a 34-17 shredding of the Dallas Cowboys, just the third time he’s eclipsed three bills, and the first time since Week 3.

In the previous four games, Herbert’s high was 210 against KC, and never went higher than 151 yards in games agains the Eagles, Raiders and Jaguars. It’s actually miraculous what he’s doing with a patchwork O-line.

Houston is Top 4 in the NFL in passing yards allowed per game, at a paltry 176.1, and they’re eighth in sacks. During their seven-game win streak, they’ve allowed just two pivots to throw for more than 212 yards: Jacoby Brissett and Josh Allen.

Jim Haarbaugh is more than happy to slug it out and play field position against an elite defense and an offense they fell like they can handle.

HOU vs LAC SGP Leg #2 – Nico Collins Over 63.5 Receiving Yards (-114 at FanDuel)

Nico Collins has had a nice run of late, going Over his line of 63.5 receiving yards in three of the last four games, and, if you want a bigger sample size, six of the last eight.

Los Angeles is a tough pass defense, ranking sixth in yards allowed, but Collins has been consistently been in CJ Stroud’s sight lines. Collins has been targeted nine times or more in seven of the last nine games.

He’s still a threat even when the volume isn’t high: when targeted three times against the Bills, he still had three catches for 55 yards. On four targets against Arizona, Collins went for three receptions, 85 yards and two TD’s.

Texans vs Chargers SGP Leg #3 – Dalton Schultz Anytime TD Scorer (+260 at FanDuel)

There are going to be wagers where you’re pitting hot streaks vs sustained body of work, and we’ve got it here to wrap our SGP, targeting Dalton Schultz as an anytime TD scorer.

The veteran tight end has suddenly become a red zone target for CJ Stroud, going for red zone TD’s in back-to-back weeks.

LA is second in the NFL with the fewest TD passes allowed with 14, and only two of those have been to tight ends. But they have come during LA’s current 4-game win streak, both to Vegas TE Brock Bowers – and both inside the 10-yard line.

While Schultz isn’t on the same tier as Bowers, I think the Texans have uncovered something in their passing game and should continue to exploit it when they get into the red zone.
