A print and broadcast journalism graduate, Eric started out in small town newspapers, moving from his hometown of Vancouver to tiny Parksville on the Island, before becoming a columnist and sports reporter at the Langley Times.
He made the move out east after winning a scholarship/internship at TSN, where he worked in TV production for Sportscentre for 6 years. He then moved to the digital team, working as a web producer, live-game blogger and NBA columnist. He also had the chance to work as a senior producer for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
While his career path led him into the public sector, he stayed involved playing fantasy football poorly with the fellas, while defending LeBron James’ greatness to anyone eager to bang on The Chosen One.
His most recent and trying venture to date is getting his wife to sit idly on the couch with him on Sundays from 1pm kickoff till the Sunday night game clock hits quadruple zero.
