Best Texans vs Seahawks TD Scorer Picks
Jaxon Smith-Njigba Anytime TD (+140)
The NFL’s leading receiver, Jaxon Smith-Njigba has scored three touchdowns this season, all of which have come in the last four games. He has 13 career touchdowns in 40 games played. He has one career touchdown on Monday Night Football, the game-winning touchdown over the Eagles back in 2023.
Smith-Njigba can threaten the end zone from anywhere on the field. Last week, he had a career-long 61-yard touchdown. He has also had his fair share of success in the high red zone, scoring touchdowns from 14, 18, and 19 yards out last season. While he is not stereotypical size to catch touchdowns in the red zone, his exceptional route-running and savvy often gets him enough space to make plays in tight areas.
Nico Collins Anytime TD (+170)
Collins has 21 touchdowns in his NFL career, including three this season. He has scored in three of the last four games. Unlike Smith-Njigba, Collins is a stereotypical size to score in the red zone, standing at 6-foot-4. Of his 21 touchdowns, 10 have come within in the 10-yard line. Collins has his share of big plays – scoring a touchdown of 50-plus yards in each of the last three seasons – but he is a strong bet to capitalize in tight alignments on a jump ball.
Last season, Collins had five touchdowns inside the six-yard line to go along with a 28-yard touchdown and a 67-yard lightning strike. He has one career Monday night touchdown – a Week 2 effort against the Bucs.
Kenneth Walker Anytime TD (+175)
While Kenneth Walker has not scored in the last three weeks, he has three touchdowns on the season and a career tally of 29 touchdowns in four NFL seasons. He had at least eight scrimmage touchdowns in each of his first three NFL seasons.
Walker has a whopping five career touchdowns on Monday Night Football. Last season, he had a three-touchdown game in a losing effort to Detroit in Week 4’s MNF contest.
Woody Marks Anytime TD (+260)
Woody Marks has two touchdowns to his name – both coming in Houston’s Week 4 win over Tennessee. Ironically enough, both touchdowns came in the fourth quarter as Houston salted away the game.
Marks has steadily increased his snap share this season, going from 11.1% to 26.5% to 47.6% to 56.3% before taking a step back below 40% in Houston’s demolition of Baltimore in Week 5. If Marks plays around 50% of the snaps, he is a solid bet to score a touchdown.
Marks scored 33 touchdowns in his final 46 college games, nearly a 75% clip. His chops as a runner and receiver make him a better value bet than the similarly priced Nick Chubb. Marks has only had 10 or more touches in one game this season, but he scored twice in that game.
AJ Barner Anytime TD (+375)
AJ Barner has four touchdowns this season, scoring in three different games. While he has been a lower-volume target, he cashed in with touchdowns in three-target games in Week 2 and Week 4. While he is – at best – the No.3 target in the passing game, he has been a reliable weapon in the red zone.
For his career, Barner has eight touchdowns. All eight have come inside the 16-yard line, with six of the eight coming inside the 10.
While he has never scored a rushing touchdown, Barner does have a pair of first-down rushes this season. Perhaps he would be Seattle’s equivalent to the Tush Push if the Seahawks had a do-or-die goal-line situation.
Seahawks D/ST Anytime TD (+950)
The Seahawks have scored two non-offensive touchdowns this season. In Week 2, George Holani recovered a kickoff in the end zone on a botched play by the Steelers. In Week 3, Tory Horton took a punt back 95 yards – one of his two touchdowns on the day.
The Seahawks are no strangers to non-offensive touchdowns; last season, they scored five of them. They have had multiple non-offensive touchdowns in each of the last four seasons. If one projects the Seahawks to score two or more non-offensive touchdowns per season, any time they have longer than +850 odds, it is worth a sprinkle.
