Texans vs Seahawks SGP Pick #1: C.J Stroud 15+ Rushing Yards

The first leg of this SGP points me towards C.J. Stroud running for at least 15 yards, something that he’s done in all but one of his five games on the campaign.

Seattle is expected to have cornerback Riq Woolen return, and potentially two other impactful DB’s playing after being out with injuries in Devon Witherspoon and Julian Love. That could cause Stroud to struggle distributing the ball with his arm, leading to him running more.

In half of Seattle’s games, they’ve allowed an opposing QB to rush for at least 15 yards, so I feel pretty confident Stroud will be able to work his magic and clear the hurdle with relative ease, given that he has at least 22 rushing yards in all but one game.

HOU vs SEA Same-Game Parlay Pick #2: Sam Darnold 220+ Passing Yards

In his first season as the Seahawks signal caller, Sam Darnold has continued to prove last year’s fantastic year with the Vikings was no fluke. He has eleven TD’s against just three interceptions, and has thrown for 240+ yards in four of his last five duels.

The lone exception he was extremely close to the 220+ listed yardage, gaining 218 against the Saints, where it was such a rout early on that he barely needed to pass in the second half and ended up resting in the fourth quarter.

I’m being a little bit more timid with this selection, and only asking him to get 220 yards, as opposed to the 341 and 295 totals he’s racked up the last two games, because the Texans passing D is very solid. They rank fifth in the NFL, allowing just 175.2 yards per game, so I don’t believe Darnold will have a huge field day on them. His chemistry with Jaxon Smith Njigba has been phenomenal, so expect a few shot plays to gain yards in big chunks.

Texans vs Seahawks SGP Pick #3: A.J. Barner 25+ Receiving Yards

The final leg of this SGP dovetails nicely, with Sam Darnold’s security blanket in second year tight end A.J. Barner. He has 17 receptions on 19 targets, hauling in four TD’s to lead the squad. Barner has at least 25 yards in four of his last five affairs, with the under (23) occuring against the same Saints team that Seattle decimated 44-13.
