The summer blockbuster season marks the beginning of Hollywood’s major releases. What better time to get our number crunchers to predict which films will be the year’s top earners?

Here are our picks for the 2014 movies that will gross the most worldwide:

#11 Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

RELEASE DATE: July 11
SYNOPSIS: Sequel + Man versus Super Simian + War = Oh my!

#10 Captain America: The Winter Soldier
ODDS: 39/1
RELEASE DATE: April 4
SYNOPSIS: Still adjusting to the modern world, Captain America (Chris Evans) teams up with the Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) to go against super soldier and blast from his past, the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan).

#9 Godzilla

RELEASE DATE: May 16
SYNOPSIS: The 2nd reboot of the classic finds Godzilla in battles against, according to the studio, “malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.”

#8 Guardians of the Galaxy

SYNOPSIS: Marvel takes on the cosmos. Antihero Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), steals a mysterious orb that happens to belong to the super villain Ronan (Lee Pace). And of course, Ronan needs the orb to complete his nefarious plans for the galaxy…
