Group G could be one of the most fun ones to watch in the World Cup Brazil 2014 with Germany, Portugal, Ghana and USA fighting for two spots to the second round.

Germany is one of the ultimate favorites to win the tournament; in fact, only Spain, Brazil and Argentina have better odds than them.  The Germans haven’t reached the World Cup final since 2002, but this team is a little different than in the past and is loaded with talent.

Thomas Muller, Marco Reus, Mario Gotze, Mesut Ozil and Bastian Schweinsteiger form what could easily be the best midfield in the entire tournament.

Portugal is second favorite to advance, but they need to find ways to win besides only leaning on what Cristiano Ronaldo can do.

Ghana has a mix of veteran and young players, but they have become a regular team in the World Cups, advancing to the second round in the last two tournaments.

The US team is the weakest of the group; since 2002 they have advanced twice and were eliminated once, but that time they were eliminated had a similar group to this one, sharing the zone with Italy, Ghana, and the Czech Republic in Germany 2006.

Hera are the odds for Group G:

To Qualify

Germany (1.17), Portugal (1.54), Ghana (4), USA (4.2)

Not To Qualify

USA (1.22), Ghana (1.25), Portugal (2.75), Germany (6)

To Finish Bottom

USA (2.25), Ghana (2.3), Portugal (11), Germany (34)

Head to Head Odds:

June 16 | Germany (1.91) vs Portugal (5), Draw (3.6)

June 16 | Ghana (2.62) vs USA (3), Draw (3.4)

June 21| Germany (1.45) vs Ghana (8.5), Draw (4.8)

June 22 | USA (5.5) vs Portugal (1.8), Draw (4.33)

June 26 | Portugal (1.9) vs Ghana (4.5), Draw (3.6)

June 26 | USA (10) vs Germany (1.45), Draw (4.5)
