The San Antonio Spurs look to sweep the Portland Trail Blazers this Monday as they meet in game four of Western Conference semifinals, at 9:30 PM ET at the Moda Center.
The series is 3-0 in favor of the Spurs and here’s where I tell you no team has ever comeback from a 0-3 deficit to win in the NBA.
“Monday is a new game, and we are confident we are capable of winning,” Damian Lillard said. “It is also about our pride. We do not want to come out here and get swept. We still believe we can win a game — we have to come out here and play like it.”
San Antonio has been rolling against Portland; they have led the entire series but 33 seconds.
“Down 2-1, Dallas really made it a series. They played great basketball — everybody was playing very well on that team and they made it hard on us,” Spurs guard Tony Parker said. “In Game 7 you have to show up because if you don’t the season’s over. I think we learned from it and so far, we’re playing good.”
The NBA point spread has the Spurs as 4.5 point favorites for game four, despite playing away from home.
San Antonio is 3-9 SU in its last 12 games when playing on the road against Portland, and 4-10 ATS in its last 14 games when playing on the road against the Blazers.
