Over the last few seasons, the ACC Conference has made a huge jump from being a good Conference to be an exciting worth to bet on Conference, and after one of its schools won the National Championship in 2013, this season could only mean a confirmation from the year before.

Here are the 2014 College Football Odds To Win ACC Conference:

Florida State Seminoles -400:

Of course, Florida State would be the favorites; they won the National Championship in 2013 and their Heisman Trophy winning QB, Jameis Winston, is only on his sophomore year. The skills positions are covered as well with running back Karlos Williams and receiver Rashad Greene.

The Seminoles open the season against Oklahoma State, in a challenging game that will tell us where the current champions stand.

“You know you have to come in and be ready very early, with such a great game right off the bat,” Florida State Jimbo Fisher said. “It helps the camp, makes it that much better. They’re more attentive because you have that great opportunity. And kids love to play in great venues, on national TV. It’s why they come to play here.”

Clemson Tigers +900

The Tigers will have a lot to show after losing two key players on offense, QB Tajh Boyd and WR Sammy Watkins, both now in the NFL.  I expect the program to take a step back because those two were unbelievable a year ago.

“We have had a tough last four days of practice, and the team has worked hard,” head Dabo Swinney coach said. “We have made it hard for them during this period. This is a veteran team who has demonstrated they can meet a challenge.”

Louisville Cardinals +100

The Louisville Cardinals will have a huge challenge in replacing the QB Teddy Bridgewater, who is now with the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL.  Bridgewater gave the team an opportunity to win, and without him.

“That’s really made the transition easy for our staff because the guys really have a good work ethic. … The quicker that we get over that there’s a change and just adapt to it, the better chance we have to be a championship team. I’ve been really impressed with our attitudes,” said head coach Bobby Petrino.

“It’s always hard to move a guy that’s been a starter and has done a great job there,” the coach said, “but we feel like he’ll really give us some leadership in the back. You’ve got Gaines on the edge and him in the back, and I think that’ll solidify our secondary.”

The ACC Conference title will be between these three programs although the Florida Seminoles seem uncatchable at this point.  However, this doesn’t mean a good team in the Conference can’t upset them at some point in the season.

The Rest:

  • North Carolina +1000
  • Miami +1200
  • Virginia Tech +1200
  • Duke +1600
  • Georgia Tech +2200
  • Pittsburgh +5000
  • Virginia +5000
  • Syracuse +7500
  • NC State +10000
  • Boston College +10000
  • Wake Forest +20000
