Hoffenheim vs RB Leipzig Prediction
Two teams with a mere four points separating each other will clash on Saturday at the PreZero Arena on Bundesliga Matchday 12. Hoffenheim is currently in 10th spot, while RB Leipzig is sitting in fourth place.

Sebastian Hoeneß’s men are coming off a disappointing performance against newly-promoted Bochum, who beat them 2-0 on Matchday 11. However, prior to the defeat, Hoffenheim had won two of three, putting five past FC Koln then also annihilating Holstein Kiel in the DFB Cup by four goals.
Leipzig is enjoying an impressive run at the moment, going unbeaten in five games. They managed to secure full points in a 2-1 victory over Dortmund on November 6th thanks to a 68th-minute winner from substitute Yussuf Poulsen. Although Jesse Marsch’s side began the campaign in poor fashion, they’ve really improved across the last two months. In fact, Leipzig hasn’t tasted defeat in league play since September 11th vs Bayern.

Everything is in Leipzig’s favor here. The visitors have won four and drawn two of their last six meetings with Hoffenheim and have kept a clean sheet in three straight fixtures against the hosts. That being said, Die Roten Bullen will do so once again and collect the three points.
Pick: RB Leipzig to Win Nil (+260)
Union Berlin vs Hertha Berlin Prediction
It’s the battle of Berlin’s two clubs as Union and Hertha lock horns on Saturday in Bundesliga Matchday 12. The hosts are in eighth place right now and just two points off fourth-place Wolfsburg, while Hertha is struggling in 13th.

Union is in fine form, losing just once in their previous seven matches. Most recently, Urs Fischer’s squad played to a hard-fought 2-2 draw with FC Koln on Matchday 11. Their backline has been vulnerable as of late though, conceding seven times across the last two games.
After a rough start to the campaign, Hertha has improved since. They’ve only suffered defeat once in the last five, beating the likes of Frankfurt and Monchengladbach during that span. Their goal differential is atrocious however this term, bagging just 12 goals while allowing 24. That’s the second-highest in the Germany top flight. On Matchday 11, it was a 1-1 draw with a solid Leverkusen side.

In 2020/21, these two clubs tied 1-1 and Hertha won 3-1. But, given the way Union is playing, I believe they’re going to come out victorious and continue to creep up the table.
Pick: Union Berlin +100
Freiburg vs Frankfurt Prediction
Freiburg welcomes Frankfurt to town on Sunday in Bundesliga Matchday 12Â and will be looking to bounce back from a heartbreaking loss to Bayern. Christian Streich’s side is quietly putting together a breathtaking season thus far, going 6-4-1 and conceding a Bundesliga-low nine goals. In the final third, Freiburg is producing as well, finding the back of the net 18 times.

The attack is very well-rounded, with Vincenzo Grifo, Lucas Holer, and Jeong Woo-Yeong all scoring three goals apiece. Wingback Christian Gunter, who was just with Germany on international duty, is proving to be a fantastic contributor as well, supplying three assists for his teammates.
Following a fifth-place finish last term, Frankfurt has looked terrible this season, with just 12 points through 11 outings, which leaves them in 14th spot. The departure of striker Andre Silva, who left for Leipzig in the summer, has hurt their attack.

In fact, no player in their squad has more than two goals. While Greuther Furth just came up to the top tier, Eintracht managed to beat them on November 7th but just barely, winning with a 94th minute goal. Any victory will be a confidence boost for them right now, but they have a tall task ahead in Freiburg.
The hosts haven’t lost on home soil in 2021/22, which is certainly a positive sign heading into Sunday. While Freiburg only have one win to show for in their last eight meetings with Frankfurt, they’re a completely different team this season. I expect them to run riot on the visitors.
Pick: Freiburg +105
