There’s nothing better than a Friday night loaded with NBA action. That’s exactly what we’ve got on November 26th, with the majority of the Association taking to the hardwood across 12 games. The Pistons and Clippers tip things off, with Los Angeles unsurprisingly favored by over 10 points. A duel of young cores follows between the Timberwolves and Hornets before Chris Paul and the Suns matchup with the Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
Trae Young and Ja Morant go head-to-head in Memphis, while the defending champion Bucks take on a depleted Nuggets squad. Golden State, owners of the league’s best record, host Dame Lillard’s Blazers, and the night is wrapped up with the Kings and Lakers at Staples Center.

Edwards Torches Charlotte
Minnesota is riding a five-game winning streak. They own the fourth-best offense in the league over that span. After a rocky start to the season, the T-Wolves have hit their stride on the offensive end, with the talent on this roster now producing at a level many projected before the year.
Much of this surge can be attributed to the ever-entertaining Anthony Edwards, who has posted double-figure positives in the plus/minus column in each of the five wins. Edwards clocked over 40 minutes and scored 33 points in the win over Miami last time out, and there’s been an uptick in his efficiency compared to his rookie year.
Anthony Edwards really sent his defender into another dimension 💥

The three-ball is falling more frequently (36%, to be precise) and Edwards is averaging over 22 points per game.
The former Georgia guard has only gone over this points line twice in the last eight games, but with the Timberwolves finding their flow on offense, and the high-pace of the Hornets, there’s good reason to back another big night from the former first overall pick.
Anthony Edwards is ONE of them!
— Kendrick Perkins (@KendrickPerkins) November 25, 2021
While Minnesota has enjoyed some blowout wins of late, this should be a close matchup, meaning 20+ shots and over 35 minutes for Edwards. The Hornets defense is not as good as their rating suggests – Edwards should post a loaded box score on Friday night.
- Pick: Anthony Edwards over 23.5 points (-108)
Suns Limit Randle
The quietly streaking Suns have the league’s best defense across the last 10 games. Deandre Ayton’s return has aided their rim protection, and their forward duo of Mikal Bridges and Jae Crowder continue to lock up even the league’s most dangerous offenses.
Julius Randle is -68 in the last 5 games, the worst +/- on the Knicks.
His averages in that span:
3.4 APG
3.6 TOV
38.3 FG%
36.8 3P%
45.5 FT% pic.twitter.com/qrLmGCFPAx— StatMuse (@statmuse) November 18, 2021
Julius Randle will spend much of his night being harassed by Bridges and Crowder. Post ups won’t come easy for Randle, potentially forcing him to play on the perimeter. With New York’s offense slumping (they are 24th in offensive rating over the last 10) and their perimeter players struggling, Randle has to carry a hefty burden as both a playmaker and scorer.
He’s gone over this points line in his last two, but the Suns should make life difficult for the former Pelican. He failed to break the 20-point mark in the previous five games in what has largely proved to be a feast or famine season.
There's lots of stuff the Knicks have to work out right now, but the fact that their $117M All-NBA go-to guy is right now the player I least wanted to see come back into the game and get the ball on late-game possessions seems like a pretty big one. Got to get Randle off tilt.
— Dan Devine (@YourManDevine) November 24, 2021
Throw in the potential for a heavy Phoenix win, and there’s reason to be confident in the under here. This is a difficult matchup for Randle and the Knicks as a whole; even with a lot of minutes and shot attempts, it’s hard to see him reaching 20.
- Pick: Julius Randle under 19.5 points (-108)
