Instead of a potential trap game leading into the game of the year next week, the Buffalo Bills showed their next opponent, the Kansas City Chiefs, they’re not playing around.
The Bills, already the betting favorite in the 2023 Super Bowl odds, went to work on the Pittsburgh Steelers, further cementing their status as the team to beat.
While KC plays Monday night, there’s plenty happening just beneath them as a group of teams are starting to emerge from the pack, while some others may be falling down the ladder.
Let’s run through the updated title odds, with some of the key movers and shakers.

Cowboys Keep Cooking
Just last week, we talked about how Dallas’ next few games would reveal if they were contenders or pretenders. So far, so good.
Dallas’ D continues to do damage, holding the defending-champion LA Rams to just 10 points, in a convincing 22-10 road win.
They made life miserable for Matthew Stafford, accumulating 11 QB hits, including five sacks, an interception, while forcing two fumbles, recovering both.

Cooper Rush was just 10-for-16 for 102 yards, but didn’t turn the ball over again in picking up his fifth straight win as a Dallas starter and fourth this season.
He didn’t have to do much as Tony Pollard ran for 86 yards, including a 57-yard scamper for their only major of the game. Zeke Elliott added 78 yards on 22 carries.

After starting the week at +2500 odds, the Cowboys have moved into the top 10 at +1800. There’s now a monster showdown looming for division supremacy in Week 7, as they are in Philly to take on the undefeated Eagles.
Whether it’s Dak Precott under center or Rush, as long as that defense works like this, a Dallas wager is looking pretty good at these odds.
Giants Strong Across Pond
Before most of us were awake, the New York Football Giants showed they have some staying power, knocking off the Green Bay Packers 27-22 in London.
New York ripped off 17 unanswered points in the second half to erase a 20-10 deficit, and held defensively on two late Packer drives to preserve the win.
Saquon Barkley rushed 13 times for 70 yards and a score, while adding another 36 receiving to top 100 scrimmage yards in three straight games, as the G-Men are off to their best start since 2009, and have matched their win total from a year ago.

New York shortens from +8000 odds all the way to +5000, which still ranks in the bottom half of the league. It’s been an exceptional ride so far, but I think oddsmakers are about right here.
Still, they’ve got a bevy of winnable upcoming games: vs Baltimore, at Jacksonville, at Seattle, vs Houston and vs Lions. They could be 7-3 or 8-2 by the time they face the Cowboys on Nov 24.

Eagles Move to 5-0
Move over, Chiefs, there’s another team crashing the lower penthouse suite.
The Philadelphia Eagles remain the lone undefeated team in the NFL, as they outlasted the Arizona Cardinals 20-17. They’ve moved to +700 odds with the win, tied with the Chiefs for 2nd-best odds.

Jalen Hurts ran for two first half scores as the Eagles raced out to a 14-0 lead, before the Cardinals staged a comeback, eventually tying the game at 17. A Cameron Dicker FG with 1:45 left ended up being the winning points.
Hurts finished 26-for-36 for 239 yards, while also running for 61 yards.
Philly’s defense was sound against Kyler Murray, holding him to 28-for-42 passing for 250 yards, with one TD and one interception.
Rams and Packers Fade – Are They Value Bets?
After back-to-back awful performances against good teams, it’s safe to say the LA Rams are on the ropes.
Their latest effort shows an offense that doesn’t offer much outside of Cooper Kupp. The run game, which opens up the expansive passing game, was grounded yet again, with Cam Akers running for 33 yards on 13 carries. As a team, LA put up just 38 rushing yards.
One-handed catch and long run. That's what @CooperKupp does ‼️

The deep-play threat finally surfaced in Tutu Atwell, but he accounted for one 54-yard bomb that led to a field goal. Allen Robinson, supposedly the no. 2 receiver in this offense, had just three catches for 12 yards.
While Matt Stafford did throw for over 300 yards, a patchwork offensive line has now seen him sacked 12 times in two games. Their title odds plummet from +1400 to +2000.

There are few soft landings either: after the Panthers next week, they play the 49ers, Bucs, Cards, Saints and Chiefs.
As for the Pack, their offense again stalled out after looking sharp early. For Green Bay, if their run game isn’t impactful, it’s hard for Aaron Rodgers to stay ahead of the chains. The duo of Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon had a total of 19 carries for 97 yards.
Rodgers was 25-for-39 for 222 yards and a pair of TD tosses, but they produced nothing after halftime. Their two points came off an intentional New York safety.

And while the Packers’ title hopes fade from +1000 to +1400, this is how Green Bay is going to be playing all year, banking on a sturdy defense and an all-time great pivot to win close games.
It’s a long season, and these higher odds are enticing, but until we see something significant from either team, it’s not a feel-good bet.
