Oklahoma City Thunder at Golden State Warriors (-3, 217.5)

A tremendous game is on tap in the NBA tonight, as the healthy Oklahoma City Thunder (17-17 SU, 16-16-2 ATS) visit the dominant Golden State Warriors (26-5 SU, 20-11 ATS) at Oracle Arena (10:30 p.m. Eastern).

The Warriors have the best record in the NBA and come into the game having won 11 straight at home and three straight overall. Most recently, Golden State downed the then-East-leading Toronto Raptors, 126-105, on Friday night.

“Our confidence is hot no matter who we play,” said Golden State’s point guard Stephen Curry prior to the Toronto game. “Even the last two games, handling [the lowly Timberwolves and 76ers], doing the things we’re supposed to do and winning the games we’re supposed to win, it sends the same message. We’re serious about winning, and we’re serious about getting better every night.”

The Thunder have struggled with injuries in the early part of the season, with stars Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook both missing large chunks of time. The squad has looked good when both are healthy, losing just twice in 11 games. However, one of those losses was to the Warriors (114-109) in mid-December.

However, Durant seems to be regaining his MVP form of late, dropping 44 points on the Phoenix Suns last Wednesday and 34 on the Washington Wizards on Friday (both OKC wins).

“That’s what he does,” Westbrook said of Durant. “Nobody’s surprised. He’s not surprising himself. He prepared himself well to get back to where he is, and back to where he left off.”

The Warriors are a three-point favorite for tonight’s game, and the total is at 217.5. Keep in mind Golden State is 3-8-1 ATS in its last 12 games against Oklahoma City.
