2025 AL Rookie of the Year Odds Movement Timeline
- September 12 – The AL ROY race is officially OFF at sportsbooks, with the Athletics’ Nick Kurtz likely to be crowned the winner. He was getting odds as high as -50000 when they were most recently available.
- July 17 – The race for the AL Rookie of the Year will likely be a tight race between the Athletics’ Jacob Wilson (+110) and the Astros’ Cam Smith (+140), though another A’s rookie, Nick Kurtz (+350) could make a late surge if he continues to hammer homers.
- May 7 – Wilson and Campbell continue to distance themselves from the rest of pack. They’re now respectively averaging +150 and +170 to win the AL Rookie of the Year.
- April 10 – We’ve got two new AL ROY favorites, with the Red Sox’s Kristian Campbell and the Athletics’ Jacob Wilson climbing to +230 and +310, respectively.
- February 26 – Yankees’ outfielder Jasson Dominguez has opened as favorite to win the AL Rookie of the Year at +450, just ahead of the Red Sox’s Roman Anthony at +650.

- September 24 – With just a few games left, Cade Horton’s odds have shrunk to -210, with Atlanta’s Drake Baldwin not far behind at +170.
- September 12 – ANOTHER NL Central pitcher has emerged as the ROY favorite: the Cubs’ Cade Horton, who’s gone 7-1 with 46 Ks and an ERA of 0.84 in his last 10 games, is now getting average odds of -124.
- July 17 – The Brewers’ Jacob Misiorowski didn’t just earn himself a shock ASG appearance; after 5 starts, he’s now a very short -210 to win the NL ROY.
- May 7 – Despite hitting just .219 over the past month, the Nationals’ Dylan Crews is back at the top of the NL ROY odds table, averaging +256 to win in 2025.
- April 10 – After a rough three-game start to the season, the Dodgers’ Roki Sasaki ROY odds have dropped to +500.
- February 26 – The Dodgers’ Roki Saski opens at +225 as the NL ROY favorite, just ahead of the Nationals’ Dylan Crews (+350) and the Cubs’ Matt Shaw (+425).
