A long-standing leader in the UK's sports media, John Dillon has spent the past three decades as a national newspaper soccer and sports writer, broadcaster and author. This includes 14 years as Chief Sports Writer at the national Daily Express in England and five years as soccer and boxing correspondent at the national Daily Mirror. He has attended and covered five World Cups, six European Championships and countless major club occasions in both the Premiere League and Europe, including 14 Champions League finals. As a sports journalist Dillon has also covered many major events outside the world of soccer. Thirty years in the industry has also given him five Olympic Games, 17 Wimbledons, two rugby World Cups, and six Ryder Cups under his belt.
