Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, college basketball is tentatively set to begin their 2020-21 season on November 25th.

Odds to win each of the high major conferences have been released across the leading sportsbooks, and we will be tracking the odds over time in the graphs below. The page begins with the ACC and moves through each high major conference in alphabetical order.

ACC Title Odds

[March 8] Although they’re the #1 seed in this week’s ACC Tournament, Virginia remains behind Florida State in odds to win the conference, at a price of +268. Duke, despite having to win five straight to salvage their NCAA Tournament hopes as an automatic qualifier, still has odds as short as +2000 to win the league

[March 1] Despite their loss over the weekend to the Heels, Florida State remains a comfortable favorite at average odds of +245 to emerge the winner from the ACC Tourney

[February 22] Has Duke’s demise been prematurely written? After the departure of Jalen Johnson Duke is undefeated, and pulled off a stunner of a win against UVA on Saturday. The Blue Devils odds have shortened to +1000

[February 10] Despite leading the conference with a 9-1 mark in ACC play, UVA is still second best in the odds at +375. While they’re on a COVID pause, the Seminoles of Florida State are the favorites.

[January 25] Florida State is peaking at the right time, as they’re now 5-1 in conference after their demolition of Clemson in Tallahassee on Saturday, now at odds of +350. UVA remains the ACC favorite at +225

[January 13] Virginia remains the favorite as conference play rolls along at odds of +413, while the Hokies remain second after Tuesday’s win over Duke, while Clemson remains in the hunt at odds of +500

[January 4] With conference play now underway, the surprising #19 Virginia Tech Hokies continue their surge after a 2-0 start in ACC play. They’re at average odds of +738 to win the league, and were as long as +9000 in late November

[December 8] Virginia Tech has been the biggest mover in the opening weeks of the season, shortening from +9000 to average odds of +1100 on the strength of their win over Villanova on Nov. 28th. UNC has also improved to odds of +305

[November 23] Despite Duke’s season opener being postponed, the Blue Devils are at average odds of +238 to win the ACC title this season

[October 14] UVA, Duke and Florida State have opened as the favorites in the ACC this season. The Seminoles return a lot from a team that was the regular season conference champ in ’19-20.

Big Ten Title Odds

[March 8] Michigan is still a +175 favorite to win the league tournament, despite losing their last two games to Illinois and Michigan State. Ohio State missed out on the double bye and will have to go through both Purdue and Michigan if they want to win the Big Ten, out at odds of +685 on average

[March 1] Ohio State has suffered their first three game losing skid of the season, and their odds have fallen to an average of +438 as they are on the outside looking in for the double bye on the Big Ten Tournament

[February 22] At one point considered favorites, Wisconsin hasn’t beaten a winning team since mid-January, and the Badgers have fallen to +800 odds to win the conference. After their win in Columbus on Sunday, Michigan remains the +225 favorite; Ohio State is right behind at +300

[February 10] While on an athletic department wide COVID pause, the Wolverines are still favorites, Ohio State is the top contender at +300 as they’ve risen a top five team in the country.

[January 25] The Big Ten remains unpredictable, as evidenced by Indiana taking down Iowa on Tuesday, then losing at home to a spiralling Rutgers on Saturday. Michigan remains the favorite (heading into an athletic department COVID-related shutdown) while Iowa and Wisconsin are each at odds of +300

[January 13] Michigan demolished Wisconsin at the Crisler Center on Tuesday night, surging ahead to Big Ten favorites at average odds of +228

[January 4] Despite the Wolverines undefeated start (and 3-0 mark in Big Ten competition) the markets aren’t as high on them as Wisconsin and Iowa, as Michigan is at average odds of +725. Michigan State’s 0-3 start in league play has tumbled their average odds down to +1025

[December 8] The odds in the Big Ten have held steady so far, with Iowa, Illinois and Michigan State remaining favorites

[November 23] Iowa remains favored at average odds of +253, while Michigan State HC Tom Izzo had a COVID-19 diagnosis and returned to work this week

[October 19] Iowa has opened as the favorites for the Big Ten title, with Wisconsin, Illinois and Michigan State the others in the top tier of contenders

Big 12 Title Odds

[March 8] Scott Drew’s Baylor Bears malaise was short lived, as the program bounced back from their loss at Kansas to defeat West Virginia and Texas Tech en route to their first Big 12 regular season title in over 70 years. They’re at odds of -134 to win the Big 12 Tournament in Kansas City this week

[March 1] Although they suffered their first defeat on Saturday night at Kansas, the oddsmakers still believe in Baylor bouncing back from the COVID protocols, now at odds of -158 to win the Big 12 Tournament

[February 22] Baylor remains odds-on favorites, but Bill Self’s Jayhawks have bounced back as they’re 5-0 since February 8th, and back in contention at odds of +600

[February 10] After suffering through one of the worst stretches of the Bill Self era, the Kansas Jayhawks have fallen all the way to odds of +1100. Baylor is still the runaway -250 favorite

[January 25] Baylor is the runaway -250 favorite as they stand 7-0 in Big 12 play and 14-0 overall. The only way they can be caught is likely if Texas knocks them off on February 2nd.

[January 13] Bill Self’s Kansas Jayhawks have faded to third in Big 12 Championship odds after their loss at Oklahoma State on Tuesday, now at +280. Texas (+235) still trails favorite Baylor

[January 4] Texas just pulled off the biggest win at Allen Fieldhouse in the Self era, but the Longhorns are still a ways behind Baylor and Kansas at odds of +365

[December 8] With their win at the Maui Invitational and deep collection of talent, the Texas Longhorns have improved to odds of +465 to win the Big 12 title

[November 23] Texas Tech is now an intriguing darkhorse, having shortened from +1000 to average odds of +675 ahead of the season beginning

[October 14] Baylor and Kansas should open as top ten teams in the AP Poll, and are unsurprisingly heavy favorites in the Big 12

Big East Title Odds

[March 8] With Collin Gillespie’s injury, Villanova lost at Providence on Saturday, and saw their average odds to win the Big East Tournament fall to +375. Creighton is now the favorite, while UConn will likely be a popular bet returning to MSG at odds of +218

[March 1] IS UConn destined for some MSG magic at the Big East Tournament? The Huskies are now at average odds of +463, and are 4-1 since James Bouknight’s return to the lineup

[February 22] For the first time since the preseason, Villanova are no longer odds-on favorites as they are +110. Creighton seems to be peaking at the right time, as they have shortened to odds of +200 on their three game win streak

[February 10] Villanova remains odds-on favorites to win the Big East title at an average of -182

[January 25] Creighton was able to hold off UConn Saturday afternoon, and the Bluejays hold serve as Villanova’s top challenger, at odds of +400

[January 13] UConn’s rise continues in their first season back in the Big East, as the 7-1 Huskies are now at average odds of +603 to win the conference

[January 4]  Although Xavier’s first two losses of the year have coming in opening Big East play, the Musketeers odds have improved to +900 from +3500 back in early December

[December 8] Villanova remains odds-on favorites after successfully navigating their difficult early schedule through the season’s first two weeks

[November 23] Jay Wright’s Wildcats are now odds on favorites to win the conference ahead of season tip-off

[October 14] Villanova once again opens as favorites this upcoming season, and UConn at +500 is an intriguing team in their first year back in the conference

Pac-12 Title Odds

[March 8] Oregon is fully healthy for the first time all season, and fresh off a win in Corvallis to close the regular season, the Ducks look dangerous heading to the Pac-12 Tournament in Las Vegas at average odds of +310

[March 1] USC, UCLA, Colorado and Oregon are jumbled at the top of the conference, and should be in a tight race at the conference tourney in Vegas next week

[February 22] Oregon remains at +350 as they’ve continued their win streak after their pause, while Colorado has made a strong move shortening to odds of +365 from +1000 as they’ve won three in a row

[February 10] Behind freshman sensation Evan Mobley, USC has vaulted themselves to +150 favorites to capture the Pac-12 championship

[January 25] Despite their stunning loss to Washington, Colorado and McKinley Wright are the top challengers to UCLA and Oregon at the top, with the Buffaloes at average odds of +450

[January 13] USC’s odds continue to improve as Evan Mobley’s play steps up, now at +563 to win the Pac-12

[January 4] Arizona State has fallen back to third while falling short of preseason expectations, while Oregon and UCLA remain favorites, at average odds of +245 and +285, respectively

[December 8] Stanford, Arizona State and Oregon have all seen their odds slightly improve with winning starts to the season

[November 23] Arizona State, UCLA and Oregon remain the favorites heading into the season

[October 14] Mick Cronin’s Bruins made a charge late last season, and UCLA opens at +290 to win it this season. The ASU Sun Devils are +275 favorites

SEC Title Odds

[March 8] Can LSU put all the pieces together and make a run in Nashville this week? After their wins over Vanderbilt and Missouri last week, their odds have shortened to +800. Alabama and Arkansas remain the favorites

[March 1] Arkansas’ incredible win streak  of eight in a row has vaulted them to top contender to Alabama, at average odds of +300 to win the SEC Tournament

February 22] Could Kentucky do the unthinkable? After they’re demolition of Tennessee to move to 7-7 in SEC play on Saturday, the Wildcats are now +2000 to win the conference as John Calipari’s squad seems to be coming together at the right time

[February 10] While initially seeming stuck behind the contenders, a resurgent Florida Gators squad has moved to +415 to capture the SEC, just behind Alabama and Missouri

[January 25] Alabama’s offence has looked unstoppable the past two weeks, and their SEC title odds have surged to +470. Missouri also moved into the favorites position after Cuonzo Martin took down his former team, as the Tiger defeated Tennessee this past weekend and are now +190 favorites

[January 13] Despite their win over Kentucky at Rupp on Tuesday to move to 5-0 in SEC play, Nate Oats’ Alabama Crimson Tide are still only at average odds of +1025 to win the league

[January 4] Missouri’s impressive start to the year has given them a surge to odds of +650 from +3500, while Kentucky still remains a contender at odds of +560 despite currently sitting at 2-6 overall

[December 8] Despite a disastrous 1-3 start to the year, John Calipari’s Kentucky Wildcats are still +190 to win the SEC

[November 23] Kentucky remains favored at odds of +120, while Tennessee is +350 despite hitting pause on all team activities due to an outbreak

[October 14] Kentucky once again opened as SEC favorites despite a near entirely new roster factoring in to John Calipari’s rotation
