From now on the World Cup will have two games at the same time, considering we enter the third fixture of the tournament and these last matches will define once and for all who will qualify to the round of 16.  There are set of four games, two per group over the next four days.

Australia (+800) vs Spain (-250), Group B

Both teams are eliminated at this point, but Australia has shown us a better side over the competition than Spain, who has been the most disappointing team of the 32 participants.

The Spaniards want to leave the World Cup with a win, but there are some reports about players not getting along with each other in the camp.

Australia gave quite a game against Netherlands, perhaps not deserving to lose, and a win against the current World Cup champions, considering there’s nothing to lose would be awesome for them.

Best Bet: Australia.

Netherlands (+170) vs Chile (+190), Group B

Whoever wins this game will win the group; both are tied with six points, but the Dutch leads the standings with two goals more than Chile.

Both squads are offensive, fearless and will give one heck of a game, but in the end the strongest should be able to win, and that’s Netherlands.

Keep in mind is not only about the honor of finishing first in the zone, but also possibly avoiding Brazil in the round of 16.

Best Bet: Netherlands.

Brazil (-700) vs Cameroon (+2500), Group A

After Spain, and England, maybe Cameroon has disappointed the most; the African team started by claiming prizes from the Federation if they advanced.  They now have two games played, zero goals in favor and five against.

Brazil hasn’t looked good either, but they have four points and is almost impossible for them to lose this matchup.  The Brazilians need to show why everybody put them in the final since the start of the tournament; a shady win against Croatia and a scoreless draw against Mexico doesn’t really say World Champion material, if we are honest.

However, even is Brazil has shown anything to be proud of, they should win by a large margin and who knows, this might be the game that starts a good rally from them.

Best Bet: Brazil.

Croatia (+160) vs Mexico (+200), Group A

Croatia shouldn’t have a loss in their record; their defeat against Brazil is considered shady and rigged by FIFA after the referee called an inexistent penalty in favor of the home team; now they are obligated to beat Mexico in order to advance.

After the draw 0-0 against Brazil, Mexico will face perhaps their most complicated game of all, but with the knowledge that a win or a draw would give them a chance to be in the round of 16 for the sixth consecutive World Cup.

The only time these two teams met, Mexico won 1-0 at the Japan and Korea 2002 World Cup.

Best Bet: Draw.
