The Super Bowl is leading to some super bets for the largest NFL game of the season.
Sportsbooks have been reporting massive wagers on the upcoming Seahawks and Patriots Super Bowl, with several platforms reporting wagers of well over $1 million on either side. Mattress Mack, one of the most famous celebrity sports bettors, has also placed a massive bet ahead of Super Bowl 60.
The heavy action remains in line with an American Gaming Association’s prediction that Americans will wager the most they ever have on the Super Bowl this year.

Several Bets Over $1 Million
The Seahawks are currently a 4.5-point favorite over the Patriots, which has garnered several bets over $1 million on each side. Jeffrey Benson, Director of Operations at Circa Sports, reported in late January the sportsbook took a $1.1 million bet on the Patriots moneyline at +188.
If the bet hits, the patron will win nearly $2.1 million.
Prior to the AFC Championship matchup between the Patriots and Broncos, Mattress Mack placed a $2 million bet on the AFC to win the Super Bowl with Caesars Sportsbook. The odds prior to the game were +200 and will win him $4 million if the Patriots are Super Bowl champions.
James Franklin McIngvale, also known as “Mattress Mack,” owner of Gallery Furniture, is well-known for placing huge sports bets on the biggest sport events of the year. In 2022, Mattress Mack placed the largest online sports bet of all time, $4.5 million, on the Cincinnati Bengals to win Super Bowl LVI.
The Bengals eventually lost to the Los Angeles Rams.
BetMGM representatives reported a $725,000 bet on the New England Patriots moneyline at +195 odds, which will win $1.4 million. According to Ben Fawkes of Yahoo Sports, the bet is a hedge from the same customer who bet $50,000 in the preseason on the Seahawks to win Super Bowl 60 at 60-1 odds. The Seahawks bet will win $3 million if they win the Super Bowl.
Big money is also coming in on the Seahawks. A Florida attorney bet $1 million on the Seahawks to win Super Bowl LX at -230 odds with Hard Rock Bet. Any winnings the bet returns will benefit pediatric cancer research.
The bettor also revealed they will make a donation to Nemours Children’s Hospital if the Patriots win.
Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker is evidently a massive Seahawks fan, as he revealed on his Instagram account that he placed a $1 million bet with Fanatics Sportsbook for the Seahawks to cover a -3.5 point line.
If the Seahawks cover the bet will pay out $1.8 million.
One BetMGM user placed three futures on the Seahawks in the preseason to make the playoffs, win the NFC, and win Super Bowl LX. The bet to make the playoffs has won the bettor $92,500; the bet to win the NFC has won the bettor $1.4 million; and the bet to win the Super Bowl will return $3 million.
As a hedge, the same bettor placed $725,000 on the Patriots at +195 to win the Super Bowl. If that bet hits, it will return $3.7 million.

AGA Predicts Huge Super Bowl Totals
The American Gaming Association revealed results of its annual Super Bowl study, as the association predicts Americans will wager more than $1.76 billon on the final NFL game of the season, another new record.
“No single event brings fans together like the Super Bowl, and this record figure shows just how much Americans enjoy sports betting as part of the experience,” said Bill Miller, AGA President and CEO. “By choosing legal, regulated sportsbooks, fans are having fun while supporting a safe and responsible market.”
The AGA’s prediction of $1.76 billion is more than a 26% increase from last year’s prediction of $1.39 billion to be bet on Super Bowl 59. The figure reflects the continued growth and strength of legal, state- and tribal-regulated sports betting market, according to the AGA.
The prediction for Super Bowl 60 is based on previous betting figures for the NFL championship and an online survey conducted by Experiential Insights, LLC, from Dec. 16 to 31, 2025, of 1,025 sportsbook and prediction market bettors.
The U.S. currently has 39 states with legalized sports betting, including Washington, D.C.
