When Can You Sports Bet in Missouri?

Sports betting in Missouri is scheduled to launch at midnight (12 a.m.) CT on Dec. 1, 2025.

That’s more than a year after voters passed Amendment 2 during the November 2024 general election, and unfortunately just after the Chiefs vs. Cowboys on Thanksgiving.

The first NFL game Missourians will be able to bet on in the state is Giants vs. Patriots on Monday Night Football. It’s not the most exciting option, of course, but it’s something.

As for betting on the Chiefs, the first game odds you will be able to wager on in the state will be for Week 14 against the Texans.

Those odds will be available at Missouri sportsbooks upon launch, as will a plethora of Chiefs futures odds.

FanDuel MO PointsGiving Promo

One of the apps that will be available at launch is FanDuel Missouri, and those who pre-register will want to pay extra close attention to the Chiefs vs. Cowboys.

FanDuel is offering an only-in-Missouri PointsGiving promo which will award $1 in bonus bets to pre-registered users for every point scored in the game.

The total is set at 52.5 in this game, so this could be a lucrative bonus. It will be awarded on top of the potential $500 in bonus bets you can get for pre-registering at FanDuel. If you sign up before Dec. 1, you get a $100 bonus, a 100% deposit match up to $100, and the Bet $5, Get $300 in Bonus Bets welcome offer that is available after launch.

Which Missouri Sports Betting Apps Will Be Available Dec. 1?

Nine operators were granted sports betting licenses by the Missouri Gaming Commission, but only eight will be available at launch. Underdog recently withdrew its license in Missouri.

Here are the eight you will have to choose from:

One of the more interesting quirks about this launch comes with PENN Entertainment, as theScore Bet is set to replace ESPN BET nationwide on Dec. 1. That, of course, coincides with the Missouri launch, so you will pre-register at ESPN BET, but all of your information will rollover to theScore Bet before you can use the Worldwide Leader to place a wager.

Chiefs vs. Cowboys Odds at Missouri Sportsbooks

You can’t bet on the Chiefs vs. Cowboys at Missouri online sportsbooks, but you can check out the odds.

The Chiefs are favored on the road, and the number has hovered around a field goal since opening. The Cowboys have won their last three Thanksgiving games and are 34-22-1 all-time on Turkey Day. All of those games have been played at home.

They’ve also fared well as an underdog this season, going 4-1 against the spread in that role.

This is the first Thanksgiving Day game for the Chiefs since 2006, so there’s not much to draw from historically. They last played the Cowboys on Thanksgiving in 1995.
