How to Bet on World Series Game 1 Odds at BET99

The Blue Jays are the underdog heading into their first World Series in more than 30 years.

This comes as little surprise as the Dodgers have been one of the favorites to win it all ever since raising the World Series trophy a year ago.

Here are the Game 1 odds at BET99 as of Friday morning:

  • Run line: Dodgers -1.5 (+110); Blue Jays +1.5 (-130)
  • Moneyline: Dodgers -155; Blue Jays +135
  • Total: Over 7.5 (-115); Under 7.5 (-105)

If you simply want to pick the winner of the game, place a moneyline bet. If you were to bet on Blue Jays +1.5, however, they could lose the game by one and still have your bet cash. Any Blue Jays win would also win you the bet, while betting the Dodgers at -1.5 would require them to win by at least two for you to win.

Totals are the total number of runs, so if you think the game will finish with eight more total runs, you would bet the Over. An Under bet, meanwhile, would win if they combined for seven or fewer runs.

Best Bets for Dodgers vs. Blue Jays Game 1

If you’re looking for a little help on what to pick today, SBD’s Sascha Paruk is making the following Dodgers vs. Blue Jays Game 1 predictions:

  • Los Angeles Dodgers moneyline
  • Under 7.5 total runs

Before you jump all over your fellow Canadian, the Dodgers are throwing Blake Snell, who has allowed two hits and no earned runs in his last two postseason starts. That includes 19 strikeouts in 14 innings pitched.

The Blue Jays, meanwhile, are countering with rookie starter Trey Yesavage, who has been solid but unspectacular. He’s allowed seven earned runs while striking out 11 over 9 2/3 innings in his past two starts.

BET99 is also offering Canada’s Best Price for the World Series, offering George Springer anytime home run odds at +675, boosted from +440. If “It’s Coming Home” the Jays will need quite a big series from Springer.
