Massachusetts sports betting absolutely dominated November.
The Massachusetts Gaming Commission reported all-time record highs for both sports betting handle and adjusted gross revenue in November, with patrons betting the most they ever have in a single month and the state bringing in the most it ever has in tax revenue.
Massachusetts sports betting patrons bet more than $914.6 million in November.
Record Highs All Around
The Massachusetts Gaming Commission reported $914,667,951 in total sports betting handle for the month of November. It broke the state’s sports betting handle record total of $892.18 million, which was set in October.
November’s handle total increased by about 2.5% over October’s total.
Over the last three months, Massachusetts sports betting patrons have placed more than $2.6 billion in total bets.
Unlike October in the Commonwealth, the revenue totals in the state followed suit, as Massachusetts reported record highs of $97,335,441 in gross gaming revenue, $94,943,716 in adjusted gross revenues, and $18,935,535 in tax revenues. Sports betting operators reported a 10.64% hold for the month.
Massachusetts broke the previous tax revenue record of $18.8 million set in January 2025.
DraftKings Dominates November
DraftKings had a dominant November, reporting a whopping $475.8 million in online sports betting handle and $46.9 million in taxable online sports betting revenue. It reported a hold rate of nearly 10.1%.
FanDuel had a solid month, totaling $235.4 million in online sports betting handle, coupled with nearly $31.1 million in taxable revenue.
This was the final month for ESPN BET business in the Commonwealth, as the sports betting operator rebranded to theScore Bet on Dec. 1, 2025. It reported $27.8 million in total sports betting handle and just a little over $2 million in taxable revenue.
