Another month, another new state sports betting record.
Ohio sports betting customers wagered more than $1.15 billion in the Buckeye State during the month of November, the highest monthly sports betting handle total ever recorded in the state.
Ohio outpaced the previous high of $1.13 billion set in October.
Not Far Off All-Time Revenue Record
The Ohio Casino Control Commission reported $1,153,077,239 in total sports betting handle for the month of November, a new Ohio sports betting record. Ohio sports betting customers broke the previous handle record of $1,134,959,970 set just the month before in October.
The state experienced a 12.5% increase in November sports betting handle over the 2024 November handle total of $1,024,326,837. It was the fifth time since the state’s 2023 sports betting launch that Ohio customers have bet more than $1 billion in a single month.
While Ohio set a new sports betting handle record, it also came close to setting a new monthly revenue record. The state reported $133,562,229 in taxable revenue for November, resulting in $26,712,445 in tax revenue.
It was a 14.1% increase in total taxable revenue for November 2025 compared with the November 2024 total of $117,051,470.
It was the second highest monthly revenue total, lagging behind the state’s first ever month of sports betting in January 2023. The state reported $108,518,576 in taxable revenue during its first ever month of sports betting.
FanDuel, DraftKings Dominating Ohio
FanDuel and DraftKings kept their stranglehold on the Buckeye State, both far outpacing the state’s other sports betting operators. FanDuel reported $378.1 million in total online sports betting handle compared with DraftKing’s $377.1 million handle total.
FanDuel, however, topped DraftKings in revenue for the month. FanDuel reported $55.3 million in revenues, compared with DraftKing’s total of $34.05 million.
Bet365 kept a firm grasp on Ohio’s pedestal, reporting $90.79 million in total online sports betting handle and $9.8 million in taxable revenue.
