DraftKings Missouri, Circa Missouri, FanDuel Missouri, Fanatics Sportsbook Missouri, Caesars Sportsbook Missouri, theScore Bet Missouri (formerly ESPN BET Missouri), bet365 Missouri, and BetMGM Missouri are now open for business as the state launched sports betting early this morning.
Several of the licensed Missouri sports betting operators shared the first bets that were placed in the Show-Me State, most of which came seconds after the operators gave the go-ahead to launch their markets.
Multi-leg parlay bets and promo bets seemed to be the first wagers of choice in Missouri.
Caesars Sportsbook reported on social media that the first bet placed on its online sports betting platform in the Show-Me State was a $5 multi-leg NHL parlay. The bet features the following legs:
- Flyers ML (-140)
- Devils ML (-155)
- Jets ML (-105)
- Blues ML (-160)
- Mammoth ML (-165)
DraftKings also accepted an NHL bet as its first Missouri transaction, as the operator reported a Missouri customer placed a $50 bet on the St. Louis Blues registering at least one-shot on goal during tonight’s matchup against the Anaheim Ducks. It was a DraftKings promo bet set at +100 for Show-Me State customers with a $50 maximum.
A FanDuel sportsbook representative reported to Sports Betting Dime the first bet placed on its online platform was a $50 promo bet at +100 that at least one point will be scored during tonight’s Monday Night Football matchup between the New York Giants and New England Patriots.
The first non-promo bet? A FanDuel customer placed a six-leg tennis parlay 10-seconds after launch. It lost by one leg.
