Bettor Sense is an AI-powered responsible gaming tool that can identify and detect early signs of gambling-related risk in users.

Underdog, Sportradar Partnership is First of its Kind in U.S.

Underdog is the first U.S. based gaming operator to utilize Sportradar’s Bettor Sense technology. Launched in July 2025, Bettor Sense is an advanced responsible gaming solution that allows operators to proactively monitors users by detecting early signs of gambling-related risk and facilitates personalized interventions for customers.

Bettor Sense enables efficient player monitoring with continuous learning, real-time risk score checks, and clear analysis of player profiles to identify and address risks, while also being compliant with regulatory standards.

“Collaborating with Sportradar to integrate Bettor Sense is another step in Underdog’s proactive approach to enhanced player protection across all entry types. The integration of this leading player protection technology to detect problem play and provide clear resources to those who need it, now including treatment services from the clinicians at Birches Health, is a critical step forward for our players,” Adam Warrington, Underdog VP of Responsible Gaming, said.

Bettor Sense allows Underdog to monitor customers in real-time to analyze historical risk ratings, provides clear risk assessment for effective intervention, and allows for efficient monitoring through AI models to identify new responsible gaming insights.

Bettor Sense also offers access to care services from Birches Health, a national leader in evidence-based treatment to address gambling disorders.

“We applaud Underdog for taking this meaningful step to not only safeguard, but also to provide resources to players who exhibit potential problem gaming behavior. Sportradar’s expertise and innovative solutions are designed to not only address the needs of our clients but also support a secure and sustainable industry,” Jim Brown, Head of Integrity Services and Athlete Wellbeing at Sportradar, said.

Underdog Expansion in the U.S.

The partnership comes at a time of growth for Underdog, as the company will likely be awarded an online sports betting license in Missouri. Underdog has applied for a tethered online sports betting license with the Missouri Gaming Commission and will likely be ready to launch sports betting in the Show-Me State on Monday, Dec. 1, 2025.

The company has yet to announce its market access partner in the state.

Underdog currently offers online sports betting in North Carolina and operates daily fantasy sports games in 40 states, plus Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico.
