I am not for a second choosing Indiana to lose this game, or even for Mendoza to have a bad game. The opposite actually. I think the Hoosiers are going to be up so much at halftime that Mendoza doesn’t play late in the game. And even if he does play the whole game, he’s been under this total in 4 of his last 5 games. Mendoza is a great QB, but the Hoosiers dominate their opponents so thoroughly that there simply aren’t enough yards for Mendoza to get. Plus, if a team is up big, they’re more likely to run the ball.

Bear Bachmeier, BYU Cougars QB: Lower 40.5 rushing yards

Texas Tech shuts down every offense it plays. The Red Raiders have the best rushing defense in the nation, allowing just 75 yards per game.
