The term knockout artist can sometimes get flippantly thrown around but not with these two. Cumulatively, both pugilists have 24 stoppages across 26 pro outings (Dubois at 15-0 and Joyce at 11-0).
Daniel Dubois’ Stiffest Test
Daniel Dubois is riding a six-fight streak of stoppages heading into this bout and, has shown to be an ever-encroaching devastator.
Dubois’ last outing in August saw him get the better of Ricardo Snijders but, he faces his hardest career test on this upcoming November night.
This bout has been rescheduled multiple times, some bad blood has been simmering, and these two are finally ready to break out the heavy artillery in a few days.
Daniel Dubois vs Joe Joyce finally takes place this Saturday, almost 300 days on from their first press conference…

Dubois is defending the British and Commonwealth titles here but, a big win could jettison him towards a 2021 fight with names like Usyk, Joshua, or Fury.
Joe Joyce’s Crossroads Moment
Joyce has a deceptive resume overall as he is twelve years older than Dubois but has less pro experience. He also has remarkable athleticism and aptitude for setting a freakish pace considering his size.
Joe Joyce’s last bout was also in the summer as he bested Michael Wallisch in July.
The wealth of amateur experience Joe Joyce has as a 2016 Olympic silver medalist underscores his razor-sharp sense of technique.

Joyce has a two-inch reach advantage and has a more proven track record of sustaining his energy through his fights.
He also has more instances of showcasing his durability, while Dubois’ ability to weather the storm has been questioned by certain pundits and fans of the sweet science purely because he has assumed the bully role in the bulk of his bouts.

I think it’s safe to say that this prizefight scheduled for twelve rounds will not go the distance. Joyce will be tricky to figure out early on and will give a good account of himself, but I see momentum starting to sway after the first few rounds.
Considering the props for DDD getting a knockout (-185) and the round betting for rounds 4-6 (+305), Dubois likely gets the stoppage in either the fifth or sixth round.
Pick: Daniel Dubois (-375)

- Hamzah Sheeraz vs Guido Nicolas Pitto: For this WBO European super welterweight title bout, Sheeraz scores a stoppage in either the sixth or seventh round. Pick: Hamzah Sheeraz (-1650)
