Chisora should win this fight, and I expect him to get the stoppage. Wilder’s decline has been steep since the Tyson Fury trilogy, and Chisora’s pressure style is exactly what gives him problems.

The numbers paint a rough picture for Wilder. He’s gone 2-4 since 2020, with his only wins coming against Robert Helenius and Tyrrell Herndon. Against Joseph Parker, he threw just 204 punches over 12 rounds and landed only 39. Against Zhilei Zhang, he connected on 16 of 95 before getting stopped in round five.

Wilder has looked gunshy in recent fights. He freezes up against pressure fighters, and Chisora is nothing but pressure. He’s going to march forward with his hands high and make Wilder uncomfortable from the opening bell.

Chisora has momentum on his side. He’s won three straight over Gerald Washington, Joe Joyce, and Otto Wallin. At 42, he’s defied Father Time and still looks competitive. This is his retirement fight at home in London, and he’s motivated to go out on a high note.

Wilder still has that right hand, and he’s dangerous until the final bell. But he needs space to set it up, and Chisora won’t give him any. I expect Chisora to wear him down with body shots and inside work before getting the stoppage in the middle rounds.
