Naoya Inoue’s Quest to Retain
Beyond carrying both bantamweight belts into this contest, Inoue was also able to capture the Muhammad Ali Trophy in his last outing when he bested Nonito Donaire in their World Boxing Super Series final on November 2019.
This is a big spotlight moment for Inoue as many fans will see him make his debut under the Top Tank banner.

It’s easy to see why Naoya Inoue’s fight moniker is Monster with his mastery of compromising one’s consciousness. This creates difficulty when booking opponents for Inoue.
He has a game adversary in Moloney this weekend though.
Jason Moloney’s Aim to Slay Monster on Halloween
Jason Moloney will be making his second appearance inside The Bubble. His last fight in June saw him best Leonardo Baez via seventh-round TKO at the Las Vegas spot.
His lone loss came in his prior bid for a bantamweight world title (a narrow split decision defeat in October 2018 to Emmanuel Rodriguez). So this fight presents a redemptive component for Jason Moloney as well.
Moloney is aware of the enormity of the challenge that lies in front of him but is confident in his aptitude for completing that task.

Inoue has an 84 percent knockout rate overall and has halted eight of his last ten opponents leading into this one. Conversely, Moloney is no slouch in that regard either with an overall knockout rate of 86 percent and a four-fight streak of stoppages leading into Saturday night.
Inoue is the undefeated champion with the foreboding presence and Moloney has won all but one of twenty-two pro bouts; never being finished as a pro.

I do not see the ringside judges playing a role in the outcome of this main event contest.
I foresee Monster coming out to play on Halloween night. Props surrounding this fight lean towards Inoue securing the knockout (-350) and, I see him doing it in either the sixth or seventh round (+800).
Pick: Naoya Inoue (-1000)
Main Card Picks for Inoue vs Moloney
- Mikaela Mayer vs Ewa Brodnicka: This is the first time that the 19-0 Brodnicka will be fighting outside of her native Poland. She enters as the reigning WBO super featherweight world champion against the 13-0 contender Mayer. Someone’s 0 has got to go and I think it will be Brodnicka’s. I see Mayer picking up the victory via decision. Pick: Mikaela Mayer (-450)
