Evolution Adding Second Live Dealer Studio For Michigan Online Casinos

Evolution is expanding its reach in the state of Michigan.

Evolution North America is working on opening up a new live dealer studio in Grand Rapids, which will open up hundreds of jobs in the area.

Already with a live dealer studio in Southfield, Mich. Evolution is continuing to build its business in the Wolverine State.

Evolution Adding Second Studio in Michigan

Evolution North America CEO Jacob Claesson spoke with FOX 17 in Grand Rapids about the new studio. Claesson indicated it will still take Evolution a couple of months to get everything up and running, but expects over 300 employees to be located at the new studio.

This studio has been in the works since April, as Evolution’s Southfield location was beginning to get a little cramped.

“We’re growing a lot. We’re almost 1,000 employees in Michigan already, but we’re sort of running out of space and capacity.”

Evolution provides live dealer games for many of the top Michigan online casino operators. That includes the likes of FanDuel Casino, DraftKings Casino, BetMGM Casino, Hard Rock Bet Casino, and more.

Claesson indicated his fondness for the warm reception he received from Grand Rapids as a reason to bring the new studio to the location.

“I didn’t know the terminology West Michigan nice until then, but I just felt that friendliness, people were smiling, people were greeting you, and that was not just one interaction. It was the Uber drivers. There were the hotels, the cafes, the restaurants that I went to. So that really helped me with that decision.”

Evolution is currently promoting multiple full-time positions for their Grand Rapids studio. That includes Dealers, Service Support Specialists, Equipment Specialists, Trainers, Floor Supervisors, and Card Inspectors.

Evolution Planning Monopoly Addition in Michigan

One thing Claesson did reveal to FOX 17 is that Evolution is working toward bringing a new option to Michigan.

“We’re launching Monopoly Live here in Michigan. So this will definitely be the biggest launch of this year.”
