Ontario Online Casino Revenue Sets Monthly, Yearly Record In December

It was a strong finish to 2025 for online casinos in Ontario.

The province set a new monthly revenue record in December, which pushed its new yearly record to even greater heights.

Last month, iGaming Ontario reported that its online casino revenue was CA$320.5 million.

That bested the previous record that was set in October, which was recently adjusted to $304.2 million.

December’s tally was up 8% from November’s $298 million mark and up 42.7% from December 2024’s $224.6 million mark.

With the record tally last month, it pushed Ontario iGaming to CA$3.15 billion in revenue for all of 2025. That was a 40% increase from 2024’s $2.25 billion total.

Yearly Revenue Growth Hits Exactly 40%

With December’s numbers now in the books, Ontario finished exactly 40% ahead of 2024 when it comes to the yearly revenue.

These online casinos in Canada managed to grow year-over-year by $900 million, a growth rate not even being seen in the top US markets.

Online Wagers Hit New Milestone

Along with the revenue growth, the online casino wagers hit another new record in December.

Last month, Ontario took in CA$8.27 billion in wagers, a new record by 4% compared to November’s $7.95 billion.

Over the years, online wagers continue to see a steady upward trend.

For 2025, Ontario iGaming collected a total of CA$84.5 billion in online casino wagers. That was a 29.8% increase from the $65.1 billion in wagers the province did in 2024.
