Ontario online casino revenue

Coming off a record month in October, Ontario online casino revenue fell just shy of CA$300 million in November. Last month online casinos in Ontario racked up CA$298.0 million.

November’s revenue was a 2% drop compared to October’s record of CA$303.9 million. However, it was a 43.5% increase from November 2024, when the province did CA$207.6 million.

What was most notable about November’s report from iGaming Ontario is that amount of casino wagers set a new record. A total of CA$7.95 billion wagers were made, up from CA$7.88 billion in October. It marks the fifth consecutive month that online casino wagers have increased in Ontario.

Yearly Revenue Growth Approaching 40%

The November year-over-year growth in revenue is the fourth consecutive month Ontario has increased revenue over 40% from the previous year. It also marks the sixth time this has happened in the last seven months for the online casinos in Canada.

For the year, Ontario is now up 39.4% in revenue for 2025 when compared to 2024.

Ontario will definitely surpass $3 billion in yearly online casino revenue when December’s numbers come in next month. In 2024, Ontario finished with $2.25 billion in total iGaming revenue. That means 2025 will see at least another $750 million in added online casino revenue.

Online Wagers Continue Upward Trend

Even though the revenue made a slight step back, more wagers are still coming in for Ontario online casinos.

The $7.95 billion was a 1% increase from the $7.88 billion they did last month. October’s mark was a new monthly record by over $500 million.

Ontario has now seen four consecutive months with over $7 billion in wagers, and now looks like it will be soon topping $8 billion for monthly wagers.
