After topping $1 billion in monthly revenue in December and January, US online casino revenue fell below that milestone mark in February.
Last month the seven iGaming states combined for $946.2 million, their lowest total since November.
Despite falling below $1 billion, last month’s revenue still reflected a 21% increase compared to February 2025’s $782.1 million. This shows that US iGaming continues to make strong gains in revenue. The shortest month of 2026 would have still been one of the biggest revenue months in 2025.
February’s US Online Casino Revenue by State
Here’s a look at each of the seven iGaming state’s year-over-year comparison for the month of February. It should be noted that some states individually report their adjusted gross revenue (AGR), which removes promotional spend from their wins. This table reflects the gross gaming revenue, which is the total prior to the promo spending being taken out.
Revenue increased by over $164 million from February 2025 to February 2026. That fits right in with recent months, as January had a $166 million jump.
The top three markets of Pennsylvania online casinos, Michigan online casinos, and New Jersey online casinos combined for $825.5 million of February’s total, which represents 87.2% of the market share.
When it comes to percentage growth, Delaware continues to see the biggest year-over-year gains. In February it improved revenue by 76.3%. While only accounting for $74,085 last month, the addition of online poker has been a helpful boost to Delaware’s increased revenue.
Yearly Growth Rates Leveling Off Around 20%
As revenue keeps climbing year after year, it’s harder and hard to maintain the same percentage growth each month.
Here’s a look at how monthly revenue has grown compared to a year prior.
- July: 28.3%
- August: 31.2%
- September: 26.7%
- October: 27.3%
- November: 18.4%
- December: 22.3%
- January: 19.9%
- February: 21.0%
The fall of 2025 saw great gains in revenue for US iGaming states, but that same percentage has not held up in the winter months.
Still, the collective states are setting new records. A jump of $164 million in February doesn’t carry the same percentage increase as the same amount would have a year ago, but US online casinos are continuing to power to greater heights.
It will be interesting to see what kind of percentage increases we see in the spring and summers months to see if the rates will continue a slight decline.
