Elite 8 Parlay Leg #1 – Florida Gators -6.5

There is one team in this tournament that nobody wants to play right now. We’re talking about a team that has not lost in the month of March. They’ve played nine games and won all of them. That team is the Florida Gators and they are no joke.

Honestly, there are just too many of them to worry about.

Alright, maybe they are the best team in the field or maybe they’re not. There are a lot of good teams left but one thing I know for sure is the Florida Gators are the hottest. They’ve caught fire at the exact right time and they’re just riding the lightning at this point. It’s fun to watch.

Luckily for the Gators, they’ve run into a Texas Tech team that hasn’t played anyone all tournament. When we talk about all-time easy paths to the Elite Eight, we’ll have to bring up this year’s Texas Tech team. Unfortunately for them, they’re run is over now. This game won’t be close. Florida is free.

  • The Bet: Florida -6.5 (-122) – FanDuel

Elite 8 Parlay Leg #2 – Alabama vs Duke Over 174.5

Once the Gators wax Texas Tech we’ll turn our attention to the “real” game of the night. The one that looks the most like a heavyweight fight. Honestly, the Alabama/Duke game could easily be the best game of the tournament. It has everything.

One thing we already know for sure is, Cooper Flagg and the Blue Devils will be ready.

I’ve got Duke meeting Florida in the final game of this thing but I’m not ready to take a side in this game tonight. After what we saw Thursday night, it might be wise to put Bama on the list of teams that actually could win the whole thing. These kids have fight.

The thing is, I’m not betting against Duke so the obvious move is to just take the over. Alabama plays at the fastest tempo in the country. My guess is Duke will gladly play at that pace given the fact that they’ve got the nation’s number one offense (according to KenPom). When you really think about it, 200 points in this thing isn’t crazy. We only need 175. Feels easy.

  • The Bet: Alabama/Duke Over 174.5 (-110) – FanDuel
