The #23 Missouri Tigers (15-3, 1-2 away, 10-8 ATS) bring a four-game win streak into Austin on Tuesday when they face the reeling Texas Longhorns (12-6, 8-3 home, ATS) at the Moody Center at 8:00 pm CT/9:00 pm ET. The Longhorns, who have lost four of five including two straight at home, are nonetheless slight favorites in Tuesday’s college basketball odds.

Texas is 9-7-2 over/under this season while the Tigers are an even 9-9 O/U. Texas had a run of three straight overs snapped last time out when they were routed by Florida, 84-60, in Gainesville against a total of 154.0. The Longhorns failed to cover as 10.5-point road underdogs.

Missouri has hit the under in five of its last six. The only game to go over in that span was its best win of the season, an 83-82 road win at the same Florida team that just pounded Texas.

The Missouri/Texas player props list three starters from each team. The Longhorns’ Tre Johnson (18.6 PPG, 2.7 RPG, 2.0 APG) has the highest point total at 16.5 while Mark Mitchell (13.8 PPG, 4.9 RPG, 1.8 APG) has the highest total on the Missouri side at 15.5 O/U.

Texas big man Arthur Kaluma (13.8 PPG, 7.9 RPG, 2.1 APG) has the highest rebound total at 7.5. No other player is higher than 5.5.

Missouri vs Texas Prediction

I may be succumbing to too much recency bias but, the way these teams are trending, I can’t get away from the Tigers as plus-money underdogs against a Texas team that’s lost two straight home games and is coming off a 24-point loss at the same Gator team that Mizzou just beat on the road.

While KenPom still projects tonight’s game as a two-point Texas win, Haslametrics has it the other way around, projecting roughly a 76-74 win for Missouri. The Tigers have moved up all the way to 18th in Haslametrics ratings, well ahead of the Longhorns in 35th.

Pick: Missouri moneyline (+115)
