The Air Force Falcons (4-2, 2-1 MW) and Hawaii Rainbow Warriors (4-2, 1-1 MW) clash Saturday Night (Oct. 18, 11 PM ET) and money is pouring in on the road favorites. The Falcons are fresh off a 43-24 blowout win versus Fresno State and bettors appear to love their prospects at Hawaii.

Just over 89% of the current handle for this game is on Air Force. The online sportsbook reports that the Falcons represent only 65.6% of the tickets, which is a strong indication that sharp bettors have taken a very big position on the road favorites.

The Falcons are Going to Run Wild
One of the big reasons bettors are flocking to Air Force is the huge advantage their run game has over the Hawaii defense. The Rainbow Warriors are allowing 180 yards on the ground per game this season, despite not facing a single top-30 running program. Outside of Navy, nobody runs the football better than the Falcons and their triple-option scheme is incredibly difficult to defend.

They average 298 rushing yards per game and are just a week removed from racking up 340 yards against Fresno State. Their elite ground game will help dominate time of possession and, most importantly, keep Hawaii’s potent offense off the field.
Air Force’s Pass Defense is Legit
The Hawaii offense is one of Nation’s better passing units, but their game plan plays right into Air Force’s strength. The Falcons surrender just 202 pass yards per game and have yet to allow a quarterback to exceed 280 yards against them.

They’re limiting opposing offenses to the fourth fewest points in the Mountain West conference, and recently held number 20 Boise State to a full touchdown below its season average.
 Roll with the Falcons on the Road
The Rainbow Warriors will likely put up points, but their inability to defend the run will be their ultimate demise. The last time these two teams met in Hawaii, Air Force put up 58 points and an incredible 492 rush yards en route to a blowout victory.
That type of output will be difficult to replicate, but the Falcons should easily control this game. Laying a field goal with the better team is a very small price to pay.
