We made it through Thanksgiving, but honestly, I don’t think we bet enough football. I mean, when we think about it, we only had three games. Three incredible games, but still only three.

Lucky for us, there are a million college football games on today, so we can just pick right back up where we left off. What’s even better is that the sportsbooks left us a few Black Friday deals.

When I saw some of these lines, I couldn’t believe my eyes. Retailers aren’t the only ones with discounts this year. Frankly, it’s about time. Here are the two best Black Friday sales in the market right now.

Black Friday College Football Pick #1 – No Points in Lincoln

Iowa is heading to Lincoln, Nebraska, to see the Cornhuskers, and we all know what that means. We can expect a game played at a snail’s pace with a bunch of guys slamming into each other all day, producing plays of three or four yards. It’s a tradition like no other.

The thing about this year’s game is the fact that Iowa’s pass game won’t be slowed by just Iowa this time around.

I know it’s only been a couple of years, but it feels like the low-scoring games between these two teams have been going on forever. Each of their last two meetings has ended 13-10, which is actually hard to believe given the way football is played these days. First quarters can end 13-10, not games.

But for us, “over people”, I hate to report that this thing will be yet another offensive struggle. This game will be played on the ground, as both teams boast a top 10 pass defense in terms of pass yards per attempt. We can expect long drives that take all day and go nowhere. It is what it is, people. If we’re going to sit through something like that, we might as well get paid. Feels right.

Black Friday College Football Pick #2 – Utah State Doesn’t Lose At Home

Home is where the heart is. Everyone knows that. I’ve seen it on a bumper sticker before, so you know it’s legit. People say it all the time, and when some people say it, they’re referring to the Utah State football team. These Aggie kids haven’t lost at home all season long, so it makes sense.

And now, the seniors get one last chance to bundle somebody in front of the home fans.

Just like with every other football team in the world, Utah State starts with its quarterback, Bryson Barnes. Picture a modern-day Russ Holliday, but without the attitude. We’re talking dual-threat, with the heart of a lion. He’s thrown 18 touchdowns this season with only four picks. He’s the kind of kid we should be betting on.

Now, looking at the Boise State sideline, we have the exact opposite situation. Their starter, Maddux Madsen, is out. He’s been out for almost three full games now, and the Broncos are 1-2 in that span. Their lone win came at home against an extremely weak Colorado State team (no offense, Rams). The idea that Boise is even favored in this game is laughable. Talk about a Black Friday deal.
