  • We’ve got another action-packed College Football slate on Friday, October 17
  • I was going to take the night off from football, then I realized that was dumb
  • See below for the way I’m playing this absolute smash slate

Fridays are by far the best day of the week. We’ve talked about this before, so you already know. But if we’re keeping it 1000 with each other, I’ve been slacking. I have yet to toss out any College Football bangers for Friday slates. That all ends today. We’re talking right now. We’ve got almost an entire handful of College Football games tonight, so it was easy to find bangers. They were everywhere. The hard part was narrowing it down to just two. Don’t worry, I rolled up my sleeves and took care of it. We’re talking one player prop and one team total. What’s even better is that these games span the entire night, so there won’t be a second of no action for us. We’re blessed. Feels good.

Friday College Football Pick #1 – Miller Moss Can Sling It

The haters are going to say that they can’t play college football player props, but once again, the haters aren’t putting in the work. Even if you can’t use a traditional sports book in your state, you probably can use a prediction market. We gotta eat, and sometimes we have to go out and slaughter our food ourselves. It is what it is.

One thing is for sure: this Miller Moss kid is worth working for. He never says die.

This isn’t the first place we’ve seen Miller Moss. Just last year, he was in a USC uniform slinging the rock all over the place. He’s no stranger to putting the ball in the air and seeing what happens. He took that same gunslinger approach with him to Louisville because he’s thrown for 300+ yards in each of his last three starts. The kid is dealing at the moment.

I know the haters are going to say that Moss will see a very good Miami Hurricane defense, and they’re right. But what the haters won’t tell you is the fact that it’s Miami’s run defense we should be afraid of. In terms of pass defense, guys can get it if they really try. We just saw Tommy Castellanos go for 272 against the Hurricanes, and a couple of weeks before that, Byrum Brown went for 274. If those guys can get loose like that, surely Miller Moss can get 275+. Feels easy.

Friday College Football Pick #2 – UNC Is Flying A Long Way To Get Waxxed

This season was supposed to be special for the UNC Tar Heels. They got Bill Belichek (and his new girl), who was going to turn them into a national powerhouse. I even got a few North Carolina t-shirts with my FanCash from Fanatics. It was going to be glorious.

Fast forward a month or so, and the Tar Heels are getting their balls kicked in on a weekly basis. These kids didn’t even look like they wanted to board the plane this week.

North Carolina has been an auto-fade since Week 1 when they got pumped by TCU 48-14. It was that exact moment that I knew ordering those shirts was a bad idea. Like really bad. The Tar Heels did beat a couple of community colleges in Weeks 2 & 3, but one pattern has emerged. If they are playing an actual football team, they get demolished.

This week, they have to travel across the US to California for their weekly beating. Is California good? No. Not at all. But they’re playing an opponent in North Carolina that has 100% quit. Belichek has to be leaving soon; the kids’ parents are calling the school, complaining, and they still have over a month left of beatings. There is no chance in hell we could knowingly bet North Carolina this week. We need to take them to give up 31+ points because they will. Probably by halftime. Feels easy.
