Adam Randall Rushing Yards
Randall has shown flashes since transitioning from wide receiver to running back, but much like the Tigers as a team, consistency has been an issue this season. He’s exceeded 50.5 rushing yards just once in his last five games, and in only four of nine games overall.
The senior behemoth put up just 48 yards on 15 carries against Florida State last week, and in Clemson’s two biggest offensive games (against UNC and Boston College) he managed just 30 and 36 yards. In a committee backfield, it’s always safer to roll with the under, especially against a game Cardinal front seven.
Louisville’s defense ranks 21st nationally in rushing yards allowed (113 per game), and has limited opponents to just 3.5 yards per carry on the year. The Cardinal have been stout up front all year, and I’m betting that continues at home.
In a game where Clemson will likely be leaning more on Cade Klubnik’s arm, Randall’s opportunities will likely be capped, making the under a strong play.

Noah Whittington Rushing Yards
Oregon back Noah Whittington is on fire. The explosive senior has racked up 340 yards on 42 carries for 8.1 yards per tote over the Ducks last three games, putting up at least 97 rushing yards in each contest. Minnesota’s run defense is average, so look for Whittington to thrive on Friday night.
The Gophers are 0-3 on the road this season, and their EPA per rush defense drops significantly away from home. Oregon’s offense ranks 10th in both EPA per rush and rushing success rate.
With the Ducks set as heavy 25.5-point favorites in a game with a low total of just 44.5, Whittington will have ample carries on Friday night. Oregon’ second in the country in explosive plays of 20+ yards (66), so don’t be surprised to see Whittington rip off a couple big plays.
