Georgia enters this game 7-1 and has won four in a row. They are just 3-5 against the spread this season. They have been favored in every game that they have played, and this game is no different.

The Bulldogs are ranked #5 in the CFP rankings, but this team has not seemed as dominant as we are used to under Kirby Smart. Their defense has a tough time generating pressure and turnovers, but their offense has made enough plays for them throughout the year.

Quarterback Gunner Stockton is completing 70.3% of his passes while throwing for 12 touchdowns and just two interceptions. He has also added seven touchdowns on the ground.

Chauncey Bowens leads the team in rushing with 446, and he is averaging 5.6 yards per carry. USC transfer Zachariah Branch has been a strong addition to this team, and he leads the team in receiving. They have the weapons to score with anyone, but this game will come down to the defense.

Mississippi State has looked much improved this year, as they are 5-4 with two overtime losses. The Bulldogs are one of the best teams against the spread with an 8-1 ATS record.

Quarterback Blake Shapen has been great slinging it for Mississippi State, throwing for 2,148 yards and 15 touchdowns. He has a chance to have another strong game against Georgia and their lack of a pass rush. Their offensive line is worrisome, but luckily, Georgia does not pose a huge threat to them.
