Dillon Gabriel Heisman Odds
Oklahoma quarterback Dillon Gabriel has entered the top five in the Heisman odds after putting on a show against Texas in the 2023 Red River Showdown. FanDuel dropped Gabriel’s MVP odds from +1600 to +1200 following OU’s wild 34-30 victory.

Gabriel passed for 285 yards and one touchdown, plus rushed for 113 yards and an additional score to propel his team to victory. Gabriel didn’t play in last season’s Red River Showdown due to a concussion, but he showed what the team was missing Saturday.
Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers, meanwhile, saw his Heisman odds move in the opposite direction following the game. FanDuel lengthened Ewers’ Heisman odds from +900 to +4000 after the Longhorns’ pivot threw two interceptions in his first loss of the year.
Caleb Williams Heisman Odds
USC quarterback Caleb Williams remains the Heisman favorite after Week 6 of the NCAAF season, although his lead is shrinking. Williams saw his Heisman odds lengthen from +170 to +180 after narrowly escaping Arizona with a 43-41 triple-overtime victory.

Williams accounted for four touchdowns in the victory, but it’s clear that oddsmakers are starting to worry about Williams and the Trojans. Even though Washington’s Michael Penix Jr. and Oregon’s Bo Nix enjoyed a bye week, both players experienced a bump in their Heisman odds.
As Williams and USC struggled with low Arizona, FanDuel shortened Penix Jr. Heisman odds from +380 to +200 and adjusted Nix’s price from +900 to +600. These two Pac-12 quarterbacks are preparing for a huge Week 7 showdown which will certainly impact the Heisman race.
Other Movement in Heisman Odds
It was an eventful week for the Heisman race, with odds movement occurring up and down the board. The other big riser was UNC quarterback Drake Maye, who saw his Heisman odds skyrocket from +4000 to +1700 after accounting for nearly 500 yards of total offense and four TDs in a win over Syracuse.

Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis, meanwhile, faded from +1700 to +3000 after tossing for just 170 yards in a win over Virginia Tech. Oddsmakers also weren’t impressed by Miami quarterback Tyler Van Dyke in an upset loss to Georgia Tech.
Van Dyke, who entered the day with the seventh-best Heisman odds at FanDuel (+3000), concluded the night outside the top-30 contenders with massive +25000 longshot odds. You simply don’t see a drop like that too often.
