The national championship odds continue to heavily favor undefeated #1 Ohio State (between +200 and +230). The #2 Indiana Hoosiers are the second-favorite at +500, followed by #4 Alabama (+700).

If the projected CFP bracket has that trio of teams plus #3 Texas A&M receiving byes to the quarterfinal.

Early NCAAF Week 11 Picks

Texas Tech (-9.5) vs BYU

Unlike BYU (8-0 SU), Texas Tech (8-1) has a straight-up loss on its resume, falling 26-22 at Arizona State. Other than than, the Red Raiders have been pristine, with all eight of their wins coming by 23 points for more. BYU has had a couple close calls against inferior teams (24-21 @ Colorado, 33-27 @ Arizona) and this will be the Cougars’ first road game against a ranked team this season. Texas Tech’s superior offensive efficiency and home-field advantage create a significant edge. TTU wins this one going away.

Missouri Moneyline (+190) vs Texas A&M

The #3 Aggies are obviously a very good team, but I am not prepared to put them in the category of great. Three of their wins have been by six points or fewer, including a narrow 45-42 win over two-win Arkansas, a team still looking for its first power-conference victory of the season.

Missouri is the type of team that can hang with anyone, especially on its home field. In their 27-24 home loss to Alabama, they matched the Tide in total yards (325 apiece) and likely win the game if not for a -1 turnover margin. This is a great price for a team as solid as Missouri on its home field.
