Early Alabama vs Missouri Pick
Alabama is on an absolute heater. The Tide followed up their 24-21 road win at Georgia with a consummate 30-14 over previously unbeaten #16 Vanderbilt, outgaining the Commodores by 150 yards.
Missouri is 5-0 but hasn’t played a ranked team yet this season. Their only P4 games were a 42-31 win over Kansas anda a 29-20 win over South Carolina, both at home. The Tigers get to stay home for the sixth straight week, but the quality of competition is ramping way up.
Florida’s early-season loss at Florida State is now squarely in the rearview mirror and they have looked like a CFP-bound team each of the last four weeks. They are back to the third-favorite in the national championship odds.
The Tide are laying just 4.5 points at Missouri in Week 7 and I expect that line to go up in the days to come.
