We made it. It’s Championship Saturday. Honestly, it was pretty easy. All we had to do was watch College Football every Saturday for the entire fall, but still, I feel like we accomplished something, and now we get to reap the rewards. Feels good.

I’m thinking we go right after the biggest games on the slate. We’re talking the SEC Championship between the Georgia Bulldogs and Alabama Crimson Tide, and then the Big Ten Title Game between the Indiana Hoosiers and Ohio State Buckeyes.

I can’t think of a better way to spend a Saturday if you ask me. We’ll start at 4 pm ET and end damn near midnight. All we need now are the bets. Keep reading.

College Football Conference Championship Pick #1 – Georgia Won’t Lose To Bama Twice This Season

We’re going to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the first game of the day between Georgia and Alabama. It feels like this is the SEC Championship Game every year, as both teams are still the class of the conference even with Nick Saban being gone. The good news is, every game turns out to be an instant classic.

What people forget is that this “rivalry” has been very one-sided recently. People are saying Kirby Smart can’t beat Alabama.

I’m not one of those people. I get that Kirby is 0-2 against Kalen DeBoer, but the game earlier this season was fluky at best. There were literally zero points in the fourth quarter as both teams were guilty of squandering opportunities. Plus, that game was in September, so both teams have come a long way since. They’re like different kids now.

In my opinion, Georgia is the team that has “grown” the most, while Bama seems to be treading water. It was just a couple of weeks ago that Georgia big-boyed the Texas Longhorns like it was nothing. I almost felt bad for them.

Meanwhile, Alabama was losing games to Oklahoma. There is a real chance that Kirby and company win this game by double digits. We’re getting a deal with the Bulldogs, only having to cover 2.5 points. Feels easy.

College Football Conference Championship Pick #2 – Ohio State Is A Wagon

There’s nothing better than a College Football marquee matchup on a Saturday Night. Everything just feels bigger on Saturday Night, even though this game is big enough as it is. We’re talking the Ohio State Buckeyes versus the Indiana Hoosiers here, people.

The only thing I am not that excited about is the fact that the scoreboard operator might not have a lot to do. The Buckeyes have one of the best defenses in College Football history.

Defense wins championships, and it’s starting to feel like this year’s National Championship is Ohio State’s to lose. These guys just seem to get better and better as the season goes on. They played five games in November and only gave up 52 points in total. That’s ridiculous.

Now, Indiana isn’t some bullshit team as they are 12-0 just like Ohio State. The thing is, they haven’t seen a defense like Ohio State’s. In fairness, no one has, but still. My expectation would be the Hoosiers only score 17 points at most, which simply won’t be enough to cover four points. Ohio State 38-17. Feels right.
