The college football season continues Saturday, with games kicking off all-day and all-night. There’s plenty of ways to get in on the betting action, but no market is more beatable than player props. That’s because while sportsbooks take up to seven-figure wagers on sides and totals, the limits on props are much smaller. As a result, not as much effort is put into making the lines ultra efficient, opening up opportunity for sports bettors like us.
Below you’ll find my best bets in the Week 3 college football player props market, as well as the odds for the biggest names taking the field on Saturday.
College Football Week 3 Player Props
One of the slate’s marquee matchup pits Florida against LSU. Tigers receiver Aaron Anderson is my favorite Week 3 player prop target, as I believe his 69.5 yard receiving over/under is way too low.

Week 3 College Football Player Prop: Aaron Anderson Receiving Yards
Anderson was Garrett Nusmeier’s top receiving option last season, and the Heisman Trophy odds contender is targeting him relentlessly again in 2025.
Through two weeks, Anderson has seen a whopping 18 targets. He’s converted 14 of those looks in receptions, posting 99 and 73 receiving yards in Weeks 1 and 2 respectively. LSU is only a 7-point favorite over Florida on Saturday, meaning they’re going to have to keep their foot on the gas.
The best way to do that is through Nussmeier’s arm, and we can bank on him looking for his favorite target early and often.
- Best Bet #1: Aaron Anderson Over 69.5 Receiving Yards (-114 at FanDuel)
Week 3 College Football Player Prop: Keontez Lewis Receiving Yards
The only QB with shorter Heisman odds than Nussmeier right now is Oklahoma’s John Mateer. The senior’s play has vaulted OU into the CFP National Championship odds conversation, and I don’t expect Temple to slow him down on Saturday.
Mateer has been incredibly dangerous as both a runner and a passer. When he does drop back, Deion Burks and Keontez Lewis are his top-two targets. The duo has nearly identical counting stats this season, but Lewis is being overlooked by online sportsbooks.
Keontez Lewis vs Deion Burks Stats
His receiving yardage prop is 10 yards lower than Burks, despite having just a few less targets. Lewis enters this game with an impressive 80% catch rate so far, averaging 13.0 yards per reception.
The Owls defense lacks a competent pass rush to disrupt the timing of the Sooners passing game, which is one the reasons they’re such heavy underdogs. Look for big games from both Burks and Lewis, with the ladder once again clearing 60 receiving yards.
- Best Bet #2: Keontez Lewis 60+ Receiving Yards (-127 at DraftKings)
